This was an amazing property with fabulous views and a gorgeous view over the water. However, there was no wifi in the room and that caused major inconvenience to us. The room was state of the art in the '90s but what you have is a complex and confusing array of switches with no explanation as to what they do. Also, quite surprised we got charged for water-first time in all hotels visited in Greece so far.
Gorgeous hotel, accommodation, pool’s & restaurant. Great lift to get down the hill to the old town shops and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent.
Offers a great view of the city and harbor. The rooms are spaciouse and comfortable.
Staff was friendly and provided excellent service. Facility is clean and well kept.
Beautiful view of the harbor and city from up at the fortress. Wonderful food at the restaurant with friendly and very attentive staff. Has an elevator down to street level if you don't want to walk.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel, top notch service. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main town but if you are looking for the best views and serenity this is the place. I did not want to leave and I will return. I highly recommend it.
Incredible villa, spectacular view, wonderful plunge pool! Only issue for us was a very hard bed so we didn’t sleep as comfortably as hoped, but everything else more than made up for it!
This hotel is extraordinarily beautiful. We had a minor issue that received immediate attention. The staff and service were kind and helpful. Highly recommended.
The amazing situation with a beautiful garden is a strong good point. You can admire the sightseeing which is really a must. Some regrets about the no WiFi! The 2 pools are great and the
Superb five star food and service. Villa view to die for. Only negative is they have internet only in the conference centre or office BUT I am sorry to leave and look forward to returning. I cant express how great our stay was. Highly recommended.
The property needs maintenance and updating. We are not sure how this is a five star hotel. The location and views are beautiful. The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating but they are dealing with a sinking ship. The main hotel was unoccupied. The elevator down to town was convenient but very unsettling.
This hotel is run down, everything is old, the lift to go down to the platia is dirty and unsafe. The pool area is average and the menu is limited. Needs a paint job, needs INTERNET AND NEEDS A FACE LIFT. The staff were amazing and very friendly. This is not a 5 star hotel, it’s more like a 3. Instead of making this place a hotel for people to come when in Nafplio, it’s nothing special and I will be looking to go elsewhere in the future.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Excellent service and the hotel was really nice and the view was beautiful as expected. The hotel was pretty close to the city so we didn't have to use our car since the hotel was offering an elevator towards the city which made it pretty smooth for us and our baby (use of stroller).
Nevertheless, the only thing that disappointed us was the breakfast. Not as good as expected from that type of hotel. However, we had lunch once there and the food was really delicious
Overall I recommend this hotel both for couples and families especially if you prefer to be "away" from the city during the night enjoying the view from the top but pretty close so you can explore the city during the day

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
We recently stayed at Nafplia Palace, and while we enjoyed our time, it’s clear the hotel has seen better days. The lobby and part of the hotel are out of use, likely due to maintenance issues, which is a shame because you can tell this place was once something special.
The villas, though clean and still charming, are a bit dated.
The Not-So-Great:
- The TV was ancient—an upgrade would be nice, even if it’s not a necessity.
- Some obvious wear and tear throughout the property.
- Water pooled behind the bath with no easy way to drain it.
- The light switches were confusing and tricky to use.
- The pool’s pump on our room wasn’t working, so the shared pool didn’t clean itself.
The Good Stuff:
- The staff are fantastic—super friendly and really make your stay enjoyable.
- The infinity pool is amazing with gorgeous views.
- Onsite parking and easy town access via an elevator are big pluses.
All in all, you’ll have a good time here, but don’t come expecting the luxury it once offered.
Dinner was really nice but breakfast was terrible. Cat on tables eating food that was out as a breakfast for guests. They should be closed down. When I check out the woman didn’t ever ask how our stay was. She definitely knew that I was discussed with the breakfast as I’m sure the waitress told her. Do NOT eat here it’s a disgrace!!!
