Over all we had a wonderful stay. My great grandson loved the indoor pool area so much that he has decided that this is his favorite beach house. The only thing that would have made it better is if the hotel would have allowed us to use their luggage carts but now we know so we will be prepared next trip.!

Fantastic!

We went for a long weekend trip and this place was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay. Exactly as listed the resort was gorgeous with multiple pools. Kids loved the indoor pool!

The location was good. It was not very crowded. We went the week before Memorial Day and missed much of the rush. The place worked well for our group of three couples. The VRBO was well furnished.

Great Space

This was the perfect space for our family. The kitchen had any appliance or utensils welded for our stay. The beach was amazing and not overcrowded. The elevators were fast and staff at the resort was very friendly.

Great room. Nice building. Wonderful location. Clean room/facility. Friendly staff. Not crowded. Kitchen stocked with all your cooking needs. Quiet location between North & South. Easily access all North & South restuarants & events. Check in/out was a breeze. 6th year staying at this "hidden" gem.

Great stay

The condo was excellent and had everything we needed and the view from the 9th floor was amazing. We had a drain issue with one of the bathtubs but I contacted the realty company and they sent someone over to fix it within a couple of hours. We really enjoyed the fact that the condo was in a great location, the beach wasn’t crowded, and it was close to all of the restaurants and attractions that we were interested in. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

A beautiful place close to everything including the grocery store. There is a well stocked kitchen. Don’t bring beach chairs as they have them too. Bedrooms are warm so be prepared if you like it cooler. Island Vista staff are very friendly. This resort is very family friendly and probably not for an adults only vacation if you’re looking to escape the kids. That said, it’s outstanding if you do have kids. Love the night time fire pits and easy access to the beach.

Amazing!

First time in Myrtle beach and definitely won’t be the last. The condo was perfect. 6 adults and 2 kids - 3 families and we had plenty of space to make sure we didn’t feel on top of each other. We had a few a questions and got a response super quick. Highly recommend!! Perfect location. Great morning walks to breakfast. Pools were amazing. Everything clean and staff was super nice!

Our week at the Island

This is an easy 5 star review. First off, the communication with the host was the best I have experienced. There was never any ambiguity, and the responses were fast and accurate. The condo is exactly as described. Beds were comfortable, and the check-in / check-out process was a breeze. We drove all the way from Boston and I am glad we booked this condo for 7 nights. Nice decor, everything worked, tons of utensils, everything that we needed. I will definitely book here again!

Property at Island Vista is beautiful! The master bath shower needs a good cleaning. Mold around the entire bottom of shower. Furnace door was covered with a thick layer of dust. Kitchen had everything we needed. Overall a beautiful view and beachy decor but room needed a good cleaning.

Nice Home

The property is nice and beautiful! We had a few minor cleaning issues upon check in with brown spots on the double bed comforters. When we contacted the rental company about it, they immediately took care of the issue and brought brand new comforters, which was great. The home has the most beautiful views of the ocean. It has almost every cooking utensil and dish that you could ever wish for. The pools were wonderful. The king mattress in the master bedroom seemed too small for the frame, but it was comfortable overall. Great stay was had by all.

Family fun in the sun and the beach!

Condo was beautiful and was plenty of room for a family of 6. Even after a full week there I still wasn't able to learn my way among the dozens of light switches on the walls, some of which I'm still not sure what they actually went to!!! LOL! The parking garage is very narrow and scary to navigate through, especially with a large SUV, but we managed to skate through without any incidents. Other than that it was a very nice and relaxing stay at the beach and would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Maybe some day I can afford to buy a nice place like this on the beach.

Lovely Location

Do not post this review. The owners have provided a well appointed condo, on the beach, in our beloved Myrtle Beach. I along with my family have come to MB for over 40 years. We used to have a condo there as well. On our arrival we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit!!!. My granddaughter found a toy under her pillow and I had a black hair in my bed. Obviously, the beds had not been changed. Unacceptable! The living room floor had not been cleaned. There were numerous issues throughout the unit. Kitchen clean and spotless and towels abounded. Showers/tubs not clean and were really nasty. This unit is tired but due to lack of cleaning and general maintenance. The table on the balcony had pizza crusts left over! The owners have provided a lovely, well appointed unit but the maintenance crew and property managers are lacking! We as a family will not return, use VRBO or have association with Strand Reality going forward. We spent significant money on this location. Yes, Island Vista gave us all of the amenities and after cleaning the unit we adjusted to our stay in our Myrtle Beach "home away from home".
