Let me tell you a little bit about Siesta Sands wonderful features! Siesta Sands is a recently constructed multi-level raised beach house decorated in a Southern beach style to appeal to the modern family or multiple family groups. With 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths, including 2 true king-bed master suites each with oversized jacuzzi tubs, large walk-in closets and private decks, this home is ideal for the large family or multi-family vacations. Upstairs, bedrooms 3 and 4 each have queen beds and bedroom 5 offers two double beds. Each bedroom has large closets, dressers and nightstands to keep you from having to live out of your suitcases. Each bedroom features a 32-inch flat screen television with cable and remote. The six large flat screen televisions offer multiple entertainment options throughout the house including cable with ESPN. DVD or blue ray players are available for use along with a library of popular movies. The Main level boasts wide open, light, airy spaces including a large, open-concept family room, dining area, kitchen and one of the master suites with its own private screened-in deck. This open and spacious floor plan easily accommodates up to 14 guests comfortably and the extra large carpeted family room is perfect for evening conversations and board or card games with the whole group. A private deck off the family room offers the opportunity to share a morning coffee or to relax while sipping on an after-dinner drink. Everyone loved the pool and easy beach access. We all love to cook and the kitchen was equipped to our satisfaction.( although we do travel with our own sharp knives ) Anything you could want (groceries, ice cream, mini golf, pier, beach shops) was just a short drive away. Very large group stayed together. House has a large living room/dining room area where we enjoyed meals together. We walked to the beach each day and spent time in the pool each afternoon and evening. We enjoyed exploring South Myrtle and all that it offers. We found some wonderful restaurants just south of us and loved spending time at the Huntington State park. There was some strange black "soot" on the sides of the pool, grill area, outside steps and living room floor. I wiped down all the railings to clear off the black and as for the owner, she had someone out immediately to clean the floors and look at the grill and all was fine. There were only a couple things that we would like to share with other potential vacationers. The pool is quite small, the information listed about the house needs updated. Some of the pictures need updated, the cleaning service does not put the sheets on the beds, their is no ice chest down by the pool. The owner is awesome! Our A/C stopped working and she had someone there the same day to fix it. We would definitely rent this house again in the future. ##### Nancy B. We had golfers and beach goers. This location was great. Very short walk to the beach and if you didn't feel like dealing with the sand, the pool was great too. It isn't hard to be near golf courses in the area but this location was perfect since we were focused on courses on the southern end of Myrtle/Garden City/Surfside. And, for night life and food, Murrells Inlet was a short ride away. The house was outstanding. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of storage. And plenty of bathrooms. The huge kitchen table was great for everyone to sit together. Upon walking in you could tell (and smell) how well it was cleaned. I couldn't have found an issue even if I tried hard to! I did have a couple of questions and the communication was great. We were able to very quickly have a conversation by text. Very fast responses. Very spacious and well stocked. Easy drive to the beach with our golf cart we rented. The only downside is the pool is tiny. Looked much bigger in the pictures. Our two families, With 5 kids ages 6 & under, had plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed days on the beach followed by lots of pool time in the back yard. The kitchen was the perfect spot to cook every meal or grill out back with Charcoal or gas. Tammy's (owner) attention to detail was superb! We loved the calm waves at the beach with perfect early summer weather as well as the Garden City pier! Painters Ice cream by the pier is a must stop for ice cream! We just arrived home after spending a week in your wonderful beach house. Everything from booking the beach house to spending our vacation there was perfect. We loved the welcoming bag of goodies and we were all surprised but elated to see a keurig coffee maker. We all have the keurig at home and dreaded the thought of not having one. The house is so tastefully decorated and serene . Perfect location ,quiet neighborhood,great beach and friendly people made our trip one we will always remember. Dual master suites was a real plus. Lots of space and just one block off of the beach. Clean, comfortable and the owner was terrific to work with. Very reasonable price for the location. Suggestions: If you are there during special events (spring break) expect to spend extra time in traffic. If you are a large group, consider either bringing extra towels, wash clothes and kitchen towels or order extra linens from the provider. There is a washer and dryer but I spent a good bit of time trying to keep everyone in towels. Consider the two flights of stairs if you have family members with disabilities. This place was perfect for our family, including our younger grandsons. With security in an unfamiliar location being our main prioritiy, as we traveled with our young grandchildren. We were able to keep them safely secured both inside the fenced area with the pool, and inside the home! The owner was fantastic in communication & quickly addressing any concerns we had! The location is perfect, an easy walk or golf cart to the beach. There was a group of young teens staying right next door, but we never heard them when we went in for the night. Even when we were all outsude by the pools- the solid privacy fencing kept our space private & we never felt disrupted by anything/anyone next door! We absolutley loved our stay & will definitely return in the future! The home was clean, and had plenty of dishes, pots & pans, etc! ##### Carrie F. Only 2 minor issues. The property is listed as a 5 bedroom 5 bath house, but it’s actually a 5 bedroom 4 1/2 bath. So two people had to share a bathroom instead of everyone having their own bathroom as planned. And the 4pm check in and 9 am check out is not cool. I remember when these places were 12 or 1 check in and 10 am check out times. Especially driving for 12 hours and you can’t get into your house until 4pm. They need to go back to a 1pm check in. Other than that, the house was clean, the pool was great and it’s only a 1 block walk to the beach.
