What an amazing place to stay in Mykonos! We had a lovely time, The Summit is amazing, the rooms, the pool, and most of all Stelios the host is the best. He turn our stay there memorable no words are enough for him!!! Gave us the best tips for places to go, things to do, restaurants and where the best partys are in those days. Just amazing.
Gorgeous view with a jacuzzi. If you think you can walk up the hill to this hotel save yourself the trouble it is extremely steep and not worth the hassle.
The rooms are very nice and clean. the decor is great and generally very comfortable.
The owner Spiros and his staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.
Only negative is with the location. We booked this thinking it was close to the beach and although as the crow flies it is as mentioned you have to hike up and down a very steep cliff to get there.
It does not take a great deal of time maybe 15mins but even myself and partner as pretty fit people found the walk exhausting.
Also if you don't like heights you may not enjoy the sheer cliff drop as you drive or walk down/up the cliff.
I stayed here for 2 nights. Stergios is the definition of going above and beyond. He carried my (heavy!) suitcase up the stairs, set me up with the hot tub (which btw is not public access and only available on the balcony of the room that it comes with), helped me make coffee, gave local suggestions, and even offered help with the rest of my trip after I checked out. The hotel is beautiful with amazing views, beautiful/clean room, and quiet at night. There was not a breakfast- I guess they discontinued it a year ago. The ONLY negative is that this hotel is a 20 minute drive from Mykonos town AND on a hill. You NEED a car, scooter, ATV, or transfer service. You cannot walk to the beach 7 minutes away- it is STEEP uphill. The bus goes to ano mera ~20 mins walk away and, again, it’s STEEP uphill. Cab fare was 30 euros each way to and from Mykonos town. There is no food close by. I relied on wolt (like door dash or uber eats) and spent way too much money on delivery fees for subpar food (I’m one person and the delivery minimum for many places was 30 euros). Also, Mykonos is WINDY. The wind here was 26 mph vs 11 in Santorini. In early May, the hot tub was perfect but it was way too cold to lay out on the beach so I holed up inside the hotel room for all of my free time here. If I came to Mykonos again I’d probably stay closer to Mykonos town, but if you rent a car, want somewhere to relax, and come in the summer, this is an excellent hotel.
We had a lovely 7-night stay. The room was as described and shown. The bed was also very comfortable. Also, the beautiful view was definitely a highlight and the pool helped creating a relaxing experience.
The staff was very kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome, like at home.
A relaxing and enjoyable experience overall.
Wonderful small hotel. Located 5 minutes walk from the beach. Steep road.
Best is to have car if you want to visit other places, Ano Mera is 5 minutes drive away and has a lovey little center with cute restaurants.
This part of our holidays was the most authentic of our stays in Mykonos
I had the time of my life at the Summit of Mykonos!! The staff was friendly and lovely upon arrival, and even after I left (I forgot something and asked them if they saw it.) They were so quick to answer any questions that I had, and we accommodating on every front. I wish they served lunch and dinner, because everything is a little bit away (a hotel van/ shuttle would also be a nice addition). Those were very minor things I wish I could add, but it was the most beautiful place I stayed in during my stay in Greece. If I ever come back Mykonos is on my list, because of the Summit of Mykonos.
Excelente estadia tivemos no the summit of Mykonos. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
After arriving to this hotel by a Taxi and checking in, the manager did not offer anyone to assist us with our luggage up to our room on the top floor of the hotel. I should have asked I guess, but I have never had to at any of our previous multiple stays around Greece this trip. Once we settled in, we had a car delivered to us to use during our stay. Keep in mind when you rent a car that there are only 6 spots for 10 rooms. Off season - we had no issues with parking. We had our own hot tub luckily because the shared one was dirty (not sure why since I saw someone cleaning the pool/hot tubs every morning). They did not have any adaptors to use for my personal handheld steam iron when we got there. We received one the next day from them after another room checked out, but it did not work and the manager said that was it. It was not a problem for charging our phones seeing as how you can plug your usb charger into the back of the television. The beach had vacant property left behind from Lohan Beach House that shut down years ago - a little eerie but still has beautiful clear waters. The woman that took care of everyone at breakfast, with coffee and keeping the buffet fresh, was the best! Extremely peaceful and quiet. Great location away from main town - 20 minutes from everything on the island. I left a review on google and after the manager’s response - I truly do not recommend staying here. Sad to say it was our first time in Mykonos.
The hotel is absolutely stunning; as the name suggests you are on a high point on a mountain/hill which overlooks the beautiful beach; it is a short, yet slightly steep, 8-10 minute walk down and it is slightly longer on the way back up; I can’t say enough nice things about the manager, Katerina, who personally went out of her way to reach out to me and assist me with transportation, food recommendations, attractions, hotel info, you name it; breakfast is fantastic and the view from the breakfast area leaves an unforgettable impression; there is also a beautiful pool area with a nice jacuzzi nearby on the upper floor; it’s a fairly quiet area which we also really liked; would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends/family without hesitation
Thanks again Katerina
Where do we even begin! What a wonderful little gem of a boutique hotel! It is located just above Kalo Livadi, the most beautiful beach in Mykonos. Katerina was an absolute doll, one of the sweetest and cutest people we’ve met! We wanted to take her home with us haha. She was amazing; she gave us a stunning room upgrade to the Royal Apartment which was breathtaking and she arranged anything and everything we needed. She made everything so easy, all we had to do was relax and enjoy. The staff is also very kind and helpful, you truly feel like you’ve escaped to a little place of luxury and peace. It kicked our honeymoons butt, we can’t wait to come back and we can’t wait to see Katerina again 🤗
The stay started with a horrible experience with the owner where we had no help in getting transfer from the port. It’s really hard to get transfer from the port unless booked in advance. Once we came to the hotel, we were very happy to find an amazing place and the manager on site was more than helpful with everything that we needed. Make sure to have transportation around the island as the hotel is quite far from a lot of things.
