It has been fully renovated in 2017 keeping much of its original character. It is situated in the heart of Mykonos town but in a neighbourhood largely unaffected by the nightlife noise. You will benefit from its truly clear and positive energy, appreciate its ultra anatomic mattresses and pillows, savour the sun in the 54sqm terrace and enjoy its wonderful view. It is situated in the heart of Mykonos town but in a neighborhood largely unaffected by the nightlife noise, a very important criterion for houses in the centre. Suitable for couples and families. The space This bright, spacious (54sq.m) and heartwarming apartment was built by my grandfather in the late 60s and has been our family vacation home since. Fully renovated in 2017, we have tried to keep it real, the way local houses look like, neither too white nor too minimal, with lots of personal objects inside. We have also worked a lot to create a truly clear and positive energy in the house, and we are sure you will sense it and benefit from it. The master bedroom has a queen size bed (1.66x2.10), with an ultra anatomic mattress (memory foam, 28cm width), which makes sleep an incredible experience. The living room / second bedroom has a wooden sofa, permanently turned into a double bed (1.40x1.90)with a high-quality anatomic bed mattress (20cm width) and a single brand new sofa bed. Sleeping pillows in both beds are anatomic, hypoallergic, from natural, aloe vera based materials, that will greatly please your neck and spine. We have put more than enough attention to the quality of the mattress and pillows because we understand the importance of a good rest during our own vacation. In the bedrooms, there are spacious closets, part of which guests can use for storage. Both bedroom and sitting room have access to a long traditional Mykonian balcony with a view. We have a small but fully equipped kitchen, with an ever so sweet light around noon, where you can enjoy your meals and hang around when the sitting room is turned into a bedroom. A marble staircase leads to the 54sq meters terrace, with this absolutely great view, where you can sunbathe, dine, take in the vibe of the place, or just simply chill. The location of the home is a true advantage that allows you to enjoy your holiday at the heart of the town. During daytime you can start your walk at the stores of the main market just 30 meters away while later you can experience the numerous nightlife options of the town. Nearby there are all kinds of shops, restaurants, cafes, super market, and everything you might need during your vacation. Chora is a traditional village with a cosmopolitan character that impresses all visitors. In the narrow cobblestone paths you will find many shops and boutiques, as and small shops selling local products. When the night falls Chora becomes an endless party where everyone revels until the next morning. Mykonos island belongs to the complex of Cyclades and is one of the jewels of Aegean. It is located between Naxos and Tinos, while there are daily excursion boats leaving for the island in antiquity, Delos. Mykonos is one of the first islands that developed in tourism and attracted tourists from all over the world.This island is the queen of fun. Here, holidays means partying. An endless party that starts when visitors arrive at the port and ends when they leave Mykonos. Apart from entertainment, Mykonos offers calmness to whoever wants it. There are quiet villages and beaches where visitors can enjoy their vacation away from the madness of the island. You will appreciate the easy access to the means of transport as taxi service is less than a minute away from the house while the public bus main stations are only ten to fifteen minutes distance. Also free parking area for your car or scooter is right out of the city, just ten minutes away from the house. Our home is situated just a few steps from Manto square, the most famous stone-built square of the town with the traditional taxi station. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and if there was something missing, Annita was always ready to help. Don’t look any further - book this place right now! Annita’s place could not be in a better location. It was so clean, the bedrooms were spacious (for European standards), and it comes with a washing machine! Oh, and who can forget to mention the amazing rooftop terrace? This place is a gem and Annita could not have been nicer or more welcoming. She met us near the apartment, walked us there, showed us around the place and gave us tips for our trip. The Host Anita greeted us at the city center after we took the Sea Bus from the ferry port to the main section of Mykonos. It was such a warm welcome and she gave us so much information about the island we felt like locals. Anita is the Queen of Mykonos and at some great restaurants just mentioning her name gets you a discount. She also took the time to write a very comprehensive guide with great recommendations. We felt our stay was enhanced working with her. The villa is very comfortable and centrally located. And the view from the roof top is better than the pictures. The place was very clean on arrival and the check in process was smooth. The two bedrooms and kitchen were small but well furnished and comfortable. The best aspects of the apartment are the terrace and location! It is conveniently located in a quiet part of town but close to everything you need (i.e. 10 min walk to Little Venice and shopping streets). The terrace has a terrific view and very comfortable lounges, in fact we spent most of our time up there. Not many better views in the city. Highly recommend this apartment. We loved staying at this apartment!! The location was right were we wanted to be, making it easy to walk to everything. We rented a car from Hercules, which was right down the street. They also stored the car over night so you don’t have to find parking. The bus station was right down the street also, making it easy to get to the beaches. The view from the rooftop patio was fabulous, we had our morning breakfast and evening drinks on the rooftop. We had the best sunset too. And finally, the communication was great, both the owner and George were wonderful to work with. George always made sure we were doing well and brought us special treats to make our stay enjoyable. Beds very comfortable and views from roof area amazing. Be aware there are lots of steps in the Old town and definitely to get to this apartment. Two main rooms have beds in them so we used one as the living area. No lounge so mainly sat on the bed. No problem if you are out most of this time. Table in kitchen fits 3 people. Manager very helpful and easy to contact for any questions during our stay. Only tv channels we found were in Greek. Thankfully we could use our ipads ##### bronwyn a. This perfectly located property in Old Mykonos Town makes for a dream get away spot! The location sets you up for walking to all the must see locations you have dreamed about. Yet up the hill enough to enjoy the neighborhood feel. You get amazing views from the private roof top deck that allow you enjoy watching the yachts and water taxies come and go. If you have been researching your must visit venues in Mykonos then certainly you have heard of the 180 Sunset Bar. Sitting on your private deck at sunset you can hear the sunset opera singer. The owner is SO lovely! She met us in the square and walked us to her families 100 year old property. She took the time to explain the beautiful home and all that we needed to know. I'm having second thoughts about this rave review because I want to go back next year for a longer stay! I don't want to miss this beautiful vacation spot because everyone will want to stay there. ##### Cathy J. It was no different with our host. Our time in Mykonos was short (48 hours) so we wanted a well located two-bedroom apartment to ensure we were not losing time on logistics. This place fits the bill nicely with the added benefit of a great terrasse with a pretty amazing view of the port area which is a few steps away. During our 15-day trip, we have experienced twice renting a place with two bedrooms, realizing only on site that it meant the living room was sacrificed to become a second room (we had a similar setup in Athens). Turns out it is not a problem as we ended up living outside pretty much all of our waking hours. The reason I bring this up is twofolds: 1) the pictures accurately depicted the apartment so there should be no surprises there, 2) should you rent this place when the weather is less certain than during the summer, you might find the living space a bit cramped. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect as it is within easy walking distance to the Windmills and numerous shops and restaurants. The private rooftop sitting area easily accommodated all 5 of us and we enjoyed watching the sunset from the roof each night. Loved this place. The beds were very comfortable, the private roof top terrace was amazing, we spent most of our time there watching the incredible Mykonos sunsets. There is a small balcony off of the bedrooms, but the view is only of adjacent buildings. One floor up is the rooftop from which you do get a nice view of the harbor and the surrounding town. The unit is located in a very good location, right in the middle of the largest town, close to a taxi stand and about a block from the edge of the water.
