Mandurah Quay Resort

Mandurah Quay Resort

10/10 Excellent
"Chose this accommodation to trial travelling with my pet cavoodle. Just a one night stay to see how she'd react to new environment (sights, sounds & smells). The location is pristine, relaxed feel about the area, Mandurah region is definitely pet friendly, accommodation meticulously maintained, presents well, clean & spacious. I only came with my fur child but the facilities available definitely caters for a family, with safe play areas and large pool. There is a brewery within walking distance that serves delicious food, family focused & also pet friendly."

Woodcutter's cottage - come to enjoy the bush, peace & quiet

10/10 Excellent
"Just perfect. Exactly how we imagined a woodcutters cottage in Dwellingup to be. Loved it. Easy walk into town. Plenty of firewood provided. Sitting on front verandah was great for enjoying the serenity and bird watching in the garden. Highly recommended."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Myara?
The best area to stay in Myara is the Coastal Strip, particularly around the Myara Bay and Sunset Coast precincts. The Coastal Strip is the most sought-after area, stretching along the pristine coastline. Myara Bay is the heart of this region, known for its white sandy beaches, clear turquoise waters, and the iconic Myara Jetty. This area is very walkable, with a promenade running parallel to the beach, lined with cafes, upscale restaurants, and boutique shops. The main thoroughfare is Ocean Drive, which connects many of the key attractions.Couples often find the Myara Bay precinct ideal. The focus on high-quality dining, stunning ocean views, and opportunities for relaxing walks along the beach or jetty makes it superb for a romantic getaway. Many accommodations here offer direct beach access or panoramic sea views. For families, the Sunset Coast precinct, just a little further north along Ocean Drive, offers a great balance. It still provides easy access to the beautiful beaches and ocean activities but often features larger, more family-friendly hotels like self-catering apartments. There are also several well-maintained parks and playgrounds along the foreshore, providing space for children to play.
When is the best time to go to Myara?
The best time to visit Myara is during the shoulder seasons of autumn (March to May) and spring (September to November), offering pleasant weather and fewer crowds.During autumn, the weather is typically mild and sunny, with average temperatures ranging from 18°C to 25°C. This makes it ideal for exploring Myara's natural attractions, such as the extensive walking trails through the Jarrah forests or enjoying the coastal scenery along the Myara Bay Road. The ocean is still warm enough for swimming and water activities.Spring brings similar comfortable temperatures, usually between 15°C and 23°C, and is particularly appealing for nature lovers. This is when the region's wildflowers are in full bloom, transforming the landscapes into a colourful display. It's an excellent time for birdwatching and scenic drives through the countryside. Both shoulder seasons provide a more relaxed experience compared to the busy summer months, with easier access to popular restaurants and attractions.
