We've spent years lovingly restoring our old home, and we're excited to share it with you. We loved sitting on the back porch. The garden is so pretty! The front is just as great. The house is a historic gem. The glass left beautiful reflections on the floors and wall. It’s right next to the Hackley and Hume homes, which is awesome. We enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood and it had a lot of restaurants near by to pick from! That historic house was such a nice change of pace and was beautiful to look at. The neighborhood was such a quaint historic area for a nighttime stroll. The host left the bunch of goodies that the kids gobbled up as soon as they got in. The house was really close to all the attractions in Muskegon and I recommended to any one in the area. I could not get my family to unload belongings. Everybody went inside to explore and did not want to come out. I would say some of the parts of the house felt that we stayed in the museum. Not only a Victorian itself but on a block of them and very close to a Muskegon Landmark! Our only word of warning is we found that it was very difficult for someone with even small mobility issues to navigate. Owners did a great job with keeping its charm while it’s functional and comfortable. It’s only 20 minutes away from downtown Grand Haven. It has 3 bedrooms upstairs with 2 full baths and a pull out couch in the library with a half bath. It worked out well for 2 families of 4\. The only thing that needed attention was spider webs around the house and in front and back yard. Outdoor furniture cushions weren’t clean to sit on.
