A perfect home base for our Michigan adventures, with close proximity to the lake and easy drives to other state attractions. House is roomy and beautiful, and the yard was perfect for our pups. The nearby park was lovely as well!
Nice property - very clean and great to have 4 bedrooms and a fenced in backyard…Although we didn’t use it - ping pong table in garage is a nice feature.
The kitchen and home are well stocked with everything you need. It is a great location with a nearby park and less than a mile to the bike trail. Many beaches to choose from just a short drive away. We recommend Hoffmaster.
Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with the exception of a baking sheet (we had to buy one). Downstairs toilet was old and would clog often. Should be replaced. Loved the neighbor and location. Fire pit was nice but it was difficult to find firewood. Close to beach and our favorite FrostyCove.
Very comfortable for a family trip. Clean and all expected amenities on hand. The back yard is teeming with birds and squirrels. Nice fire pit and lots of room for pets.
Every place we wanted to visit was close by. Michigan Adventure, Silversides, the beach. We were blessed with amazing weather. The house was very homey and felt comfortable. The only complaint would be the tv was wonky. When we lost hot water they were quick to respond. Kitchen was well stocked only thing missing was a baking sheet.
Overall, very nice and an accurate listing. Take note, only full bathroom/shower and no dishwasher. Other than that everything else was about perfect. Great neighborhood very close to a park and short drive to the beach. Fenced in yard with fire pit and fully stocked kitchen to make meals/etc. No complaints at all
We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Set up as a rental the owners really anticipated everything we might need. There were fans in every room, plenty of power outlets, both regular and kid-friendly plates and bowls, etc. Having littles one of them of course threw up in his bed in the middle of the night, but there were operational on-site laundry facilities to clean everything up! My favorite part was the open common area where the kids could play, and there were even children’s books and some games. Older kids would enjoy the ping-pong table in the garage, and the open backyard was perfect for kids and pets to play. A beautiful park with playground equipment was just a short walk away as well. All in all it was a very comfortable stay with everything we could want. If there is anything I would change it would be the addition of a Keurig coffeemaker, but there was a normal drip maker that worked great. I highly recommend this property and definitely would stay there again!
This was a great home base for our family as we stayed in Muskegon for a week. It’s in a great location and is very quiet. Everything we needed was there, including a Pack n Play and high chair for the little one.
Our two doggos loved it as well! 🐶 Plenty of room in the fenced in yard for them to roam and run around.
We never got a chance to use the fire pit unfortunately but there was a starter bundle of wood there already if we did end up using it.
Lastly, the host is very responsive to messages.
Roomy & Comfortably Decorated Family Home In Great Location
My adult daughter, her fiance', myself & 2 dogs ( 1-50 lbs & 1-75 lbs ) rented the home for 6 nights. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds & a very enjoyable neighborhood dog walking. The access to grocery shopping & local parks was great. The home also offered TV with guide, not just the usual streaming service-nice addition. The home was a little worn but seemed to be end of season blemishes-walls hit with
moving chairs-easily remedied. Freshwater Vacation
Rental managed the property-they were readily available, prompt response with getting someone out to fine-tune the google nest heating controls. Would readily stay again without hesitation.
This was our first time staying in Muskegon. We loved that it wasn't super touristy, but minutes away from a great beach, boat launch, drive-in, and dog beach. The fenced in yard was a bonus for our furry child. Our only concern was the window above the kitchen sink was unlocked (figured it out when we set of the smoke alarm making bacon) and the garage side door was unlocked (figured it out when dropping off garbage and realized there was a door near there and just tried it). We locked both of them when we left but did kind of freaked us out. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we were able to make large breakfast meals every morning. It was nice that with only one shower we were able to all have hot showers. The washer and dryer were clean (not always the case in rental places). We loved the cute balcony upstairs and the patio out back. We ate most of our meals outside on the patio. The beds were comfy, and we all felt like we had space to move around, and either be a large group or quiet time alone. We liked that there were enough chairs in the backyard to enjoy the fire pit or just eat at the table. Everyone in our group gave it a double thumbs up!
The house was extremely clean. The location is perfect as it is so close to the Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake beaches. The fenced yard was great for our dog.We had a great time. I would highly recommend this house rental.
We enjoyed our stay here very much. Very clean and all the keys features were great and well set up -- the kitchen, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the backyard. Nice neighborhood! We would definitely go back. We loved Muskegon and the beaches. Great trip!
Such a lovely home! They made sure we had everything we needed! Went the extra mile to get us propane for the grill when it went out! Definitely would stay again!
I loved it all honestly, the house was nice, the bathrooms were nice, the backyard.. dont even get me started.. I just wish it was hotter outside we could’ve made smores. But it was an amazing time there for everyone!
Everything was great. Very nice and well maintained. I’m 70 and I thought it would be nice to have a grab bar in the bath tub for saferty reasons. The steps leading into the house could also use a rail to make it easier on us old people. We also liked the tablet available to chat for any questions we had. Our questions via chat were answered and helpful promptly. we enjoyed everything.
