"The Daria-I Nor hotel was unexpectedly closed during our stay in Alpe d’Huez. This meant there was no access to the facilities advertised at the time of my original booking. The restaurant was closed for breakfast and evening meals. The Spa, Bar and Ski shop were closed, and access to the Alpe Express was only available via a 100m muddy path rather than through the hotel. The staff were friendly and the swimming pool was adequate. If I had known the hotel was closed I would have booked more convenient and cheaper accommodation. I expect compensation for your failure to provide and communicate the changes consequent on the hotel closure."

"Same as other. Stayed April 2026 for the finale weekend of the ski season. Very convenient location, helpfully staff and good room layout. However, cleanliness was way beyond par… stains on wall, dust on the carpet, and plain gross ventilation outlets … but was hard to beat for the price !"

"Appartement très bien équipé, conforme au descriptif mis à part le lave-linge. Très propre.Résidence située au centre ville, multitude de commerces à proximité. Accès aux pistes de ski par navette gratuite ou à 5/10mn à pied.Check in/out en autonomie, boîte à clés."

"I would have preferred an evening menu that you could choose rather than the set menus. Breakfast was excellent. The massage lady I had was superb. The reception was hit and miss. I tried to book the evening meal there but was told to book it at the restaurant however no one was there to take the booking so I had to keep going back. The bar staff were great and the happy hour and afternoon tea was a great touch. No towels at the pool was annoying when the spa people were away you couldn’t get a towel. I think the spa should be free for guests all day it just the morning. Pool table and games is good. Room cleaner kept coming into the room when the do not disturb ticket was on the door. The dryer in the ski boot room didn’t work in the locker. The location and design of the hotel was great. All in all a fabulous holiday. Thank you "

"Appartement très agréable : bien équipé, lits confortables et, depuis le balcon, une vue imprenable sur la vallée vers Huez/Bourg d'Oisans et son décors montagneux. En étudiant un peu les alentours, chemins et remontées mécaniques internes de la station, l'accès aux pistes peut se faire avec peu d'effort physique."

"Accommodation is ideally located, within a short walk of the slopes, free bus or cage lifts. A supermarket is just over the road, lot's of nearby shops and restaurants. We were a party of 6, so we had plenty of room. Kitchen was well equipped and the hosts lived above the accommodation so were always on hand for help or advice. "

"Fantastic hotel, with perfect access to the slopes. Only criticism is that the no phone rule is not enforced in the spa, spoiling the environment. "
