Footprints On The Sand is a 5,500 square foot 9 bedroom oceanfront home that can comfortably accommodate 24. This Garden City beach house is perfect for a large group to getaway and relax! 2 private pools give plenty of entertainment when you’re not on the beach.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, or guests can stay-in and use the large kitchen inside as well as the outdoor bar and food prepping area. Guests can also enjoy 3 exterior porches and free paved parking.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
There are 2 exterior cameras - one at the front of the house and 2nd at the back of the house. These cameras are for the security of guests. They have plugs inside the house (1st floor left bedroom and dining room). Please do not unplug them. Doorbell also has a camera. There are no interior cameras. No video recordings are done; cameras are strictly for security reasons. If you have any question or concerns regarding cameras, please feel free to contact the host.

For the safety of children, adult (primary) guest is responsible to follow Bunk Bed safety rules:
An adult should always supervise children's use of bunk beds.
Do not allow children less than 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
Manufacturer suggested weight limit is 175 lbs. for the top bunk and 200 lbs. for the bottom bunk.

For the Safety of all guests, pool equipment is inside enclosed fence. Please do not enter this area or access pool equipment or any electrical box inside and outside the fenced area. Not following this rule will be considered violation of house rules.

Almost perfect

The location of this property is perfect. The house was clean, but could definitely use some updates. The electrical system needs some attention. Everything we did have problems with was fixed quickly. Overall, it was a great house and worked well for our family. We would stay here again.

plenty of room!

The house was perfect and was very comfortable for my family and friends. We had room to spread out and we enjoyed being so close to the beach. The outside amenities were great with plenty of room on deck. I wish we could have used the outside bar more but the weather didn't cooperate. Don't hesitate. If you have a large crowd, this is the place for you!

Family Fun at the Beach

Bask Away was great. They were quick to fix every problem. The problems were too numerous to list all of them. A few were broken ice makers and lousy internet connections. The rental company I would rate a 10, but I will not be renting this particular property again. One more thing - after all the taxes etc. I paid almost $16 K for this property. Then they charged $150 for a grill. That is ridiculous that the place does not provide a grill.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful location right on the ocean. Outdoor pools and hottub were great. Unfortunately the house had many maintenance issues. (Broken sink, jacuzzi tub leaking into kitchen, broken doorknob, blown lightbulbs, broken pool sticks) HOWEVER, management was quick to come by and fix these issues once it was brought to their attention. We greatly enjoyed our stay. We just expected no issues with the amount of money it is to rent the house for a week. My wedding day at footprints on the sand was perfect.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the house to be sufficient on first look. We were not happy about the non-working oven and stovetop. The two options for ovens were not sufficient for our needs. No grill was available unless we rented one. Some of the light switches were broken and the toilet upstairs did not flush or fill properly. The sink in the bathroom downstairs was not draining properly. The ice maker leaked and the pool motor was loud and broken. The lights around the pergola did not work. I sent a list to Rebecca of the things we found that were broken when we arrived. The outdoor area around the pool was really lovely. The furniture on the back porch could use a good cleaning. Robbie was wonderful, but we were not happy with the lack of ability to speak to a person when we would call the office. You also rebooked it with someone else before we had the chance to consider it. Your fee for reserving is high compared to other agencies. The location is really nice and if things were in good repair it would be a wonderful place.

Enjoyable family vacation

We enjoyed the pool and the beach. The house was more than adequate for our needs. The two dishwashers was a blessing. However, the icemaker in the bar area did not work. We had to buy bags of ice to make our frozen drinks.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms and a nice layout. The access to the beach was great! Super close and easy for family members that have difficulty walking to get down to the beach. The only disappointment was the kitchen. It was a beautiful kitchen but wasn’t very well equipped for cooking. Very few pans, only 2 measuring cups and a very odd assortment of silverware and other cooking utensils. If you intend to cook dinner every night like we did maybe bring some extra pans from home and some other cooking utensils just in case. If you like ice cream though there were about 50 plastic ice cream bowls in the one cupboard which we found funny. Also, the stove took forever to heat up and a couple of the burners didn’t work. We ended up using the toaster oven more to cook because of the oven situation. The location was of the house was excellent. Very close to a grocery store which was accessible with a golf cart which was nice. We ate dinner one night at Drunken Jacks which was delicious along with great service and a beautiful setting on inlet. Overall we had a wonderful time at Footprints On The Sand and would definitely rent from BASK Away again in the future.

The house had more than adequate space, very clean, up tp date applaince and furniture, adequate parking spaces,and plenty of outdoor seating. The best features were everyone had their own bathroom, a big kitchen as we prefer to cook than going out, and how fast the staff responded to my questions via text.Footprints On The Sand rocks. I would highly recommend.
