Welcome to our quiet ground-floor holiday rental in Murnau am Staffelsee. This well-maintained apartment is a lovely place for a relaxing holiday for two or three people, combining a personal, homely atmosphere with plenty of peace and quiet and easy access to the town.

The apartment is DTV-rated 4 stars and, accordingly, offers “high-quality furnishings and amenities with superior comfort” (classification valid through May 2027).

A bedroom with a double bed, an additional room with a sleeper sofa, a well-equipped kitchen-diner, a cosy living room, and a bright bathroom with a spacious shower and separate toilet provide pleasant comfort for a relaxing holiday.

Wooden floors, lovingly selected vintage details, and unique decorative pieces give the apartment its own character. As a non-smoking apartment with hardwood floors and synthetic bedding, it’s also well-suited for many people with allergies. Wi-Fi, books, and games are available for cosy moments.

For your exclusive use are a sheltered south-facing terrace and a private garden area. The view of the lush greenery and the large meadow creates a pleasant, largely secluded atmosphere and makes the apartment a wonderful place to arrive, take a deep breath, and feel at ease.

There is a garden shed for secure storage of bicycles you bring along, as well as a parking space and an electric vehicle charging station available for a fee. The location is ideal, especially for guests who enjoy cycling.

Murnau am Staffelsee is a very special place in the “Blaues Land”—a traditional artists’ village and summer retreat that remains defined to this day by its beautiful blend of nature, culture, and lifestyle. Marktstraße, designed by Emanuel von Seidl, with its colourful houses, cafés, and small shops, along with the Münter House, the Castle Museum, and the history of the Blue Rider, give the town its unmistakable charm.

At the same time, Murnau is a wonderful starting point for walks, hikes, mountain tours, and bike rides through the magnificent Upper Bavarian countryside. The Murnauer Moos, with its rich variety of plant and bird life; the Staffelsee, with its motorboat tours, beach areas, and lakeside paths; and other nearby lakes such as the near-natural Froschhauser See invite visitors to enjoy relaxing hours by the water and varied holiday days. The Kristall-Therme, the Franz Marc Museum in Kochel, Ettal Abbey, and Linderhof Palace are also lovely destinations for day trips.
