All Pictured Rocks could offer and a beautiful place to stay
Your on a lake, it can sleep 8 - all Queen beds, we had 4 people so we all got our own bed. Lake view is beautiful, cabin is comfortable. It has one bathroom and is 20 min from the closest paved road but we would stay there again. Very peaceful setting.
Cute cabin on a small private lake. Pretty remote with dirt roads to get to the property. Close enough to what we wanted to do (Pictured Lakeshore) while being out of town. Clean and had most of what we needed for our stay.
We stayed here for our snowmobile trip. Great cabin for all the guys. Close to the Buckhorn and gas there. It had all the amenities we needed for cooking and cleaning up. Would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful cabin in the woods. Very clean and modern. This place has it all..even three swans on the lake. Spacious and charming. Extremely quiet and peaceful.
We had a wonderful getaway while staying at this cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the campfire by the lake, kayaking, and using the paddle boat. It was in a remote area but still convenient for day trips to Munising and Marquette.
We enjoyed our stay the cabin which had everything we needed. Kitchen was very well stocked. The cabin is not only beautiful but comfortable inside and out. Great deck for eating our meals and enjoying the view of the lake. We also enjoyed the paddle boat! Enjoyed the little town of Munising and the stunning Lake Superior beach! Thank You!
Short stay of 4 days to unwind and do a little sightseeing in the area. The Cabin is well kept and is located on a peaceful small lake. Easy access to hiking areas. It was just my wife and myself, but plenty of room for kids/ grandkids. Highly recommend.
The property is beautiful, quiet and serene. The cabin is nicely appointed. Beds were great. We enjoyed our week exploring Munising, Au Train, Marquette, Big Bay and Grand Marais. Would definitely stay again. Directions were spot on. Many thanks!
We really enjoyed our stay on here. The cabin was very comfortable and had many of the amenities for a nice stay. The view of the lake is gorgeous. We are familiar with the neighborhood as my parents live right down the road from this cabin so finding it was not difficult for us. However I would reach out to the host before you lose phone service to get very detailed instructions to the cabin itself as it would be somewhat difficult for anybody who does not know the area.
Excellent place! We loved it. The Internet was not working, the owner did offer to have it fixed while we were there, but we spent all our free time hiking so opted to leave it alone. We did find a box of DVDs so we did have entertainment in the evening despite not having Internet!
Beautiful views, highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice secluded getaway!
House was very clean and tastefully decorated with comfy beds! We enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboat as well as the beautiful view off the deck. Perfect place to see the stars at night. It is a drive along a lot of dirt roads to get there so be prepared to stock up before getting to the house, it did not have basics like salt, pepper or matches there.
Weather didn’t cooperate so we didn’t get to enjoy the deck or take the boats out. Cabin was great, very relaxing to sit and look out at the lake. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely come back
Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking to get away. Fall was beautiful time to go. House was well appointed and very comfortable- we enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the availability of the wood they made available on location for a reasonable price. I would recommend brining your own fry pans as the ones available were very worn but all other kitchen supplies were provided and in good working condition. Communication with home owner was very good when I was up there, she answered several questions I had within minutes.
We loved the serenity of the location, especially using the kayaks and paddle boat on the lake, and having a fire in the fire pit. It was well positioned for our day trips to Marquette and Pictured Rocks, and well appointed for our stay. Only complaints were the weakness of the wifi and a majority of the power outlets not working, plus very low mobile phone signal in the area, which created challenges with finalizing sightseeing plans and catching up on work.
We had a very nice stay at this beautiful cabin. Kitchen was well equipped with dishes, etc. All rooms were clean. The pedal boat and kayaks were awesome to have available. I might suggest a window AC unit for the upstairs bedroom. Even with fans, it was really hot and uncomfortable sleeping. In cooler months it probably doesn’t matter. This is located waaaaay back in the woods, and 30 minutes from Munising. So, don’t forget anything, because it’s too far to grab anything quickly. The upside is it’s peaceful, serene, and really beautiful!
This is a beautiful cabin and a very peaceful Lake. There is about 5 mi of unpaved road to get there. The GPS worked pretty well but the owners were even better at letting us know how to find it. We ended up getting there after dark and did not have trouble. It's a little hard on your car to drive on the unpaved roads but it was worth it. You should also know that adds about 15 minutes to your time to get anywhere. The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful. Lots of room. There is no air conditioning and that makes sense for the upper peninsula but it has been hotter lately and the upstairs loft gets a little warm. They do provide extra fans and have ceiling fans so that makes it comfortable.
