This hotel is located just a short 10 min bus ride away from both the tram and train station, providing a whole multitude of transport options to explore the beautiful city of Munich. The compound itself was large and welcoming, with excellent service in checking in our room. The room was elegant and spacious, giving us a good space to relax and rest. The breakfast was well stocked to accommodate many guests, with a good selection of delights prepared in whimsical ways such as an automatic fresh pancake maker and a Nutella dispenser.

Breakfast was lovely. Carpets in rooms were very dirty. Lovely comfy bed, but pillows were wierd size-square and small rectangle. Why?! Very soft and comfortable though. Location but far from airport but worked for us as we took the train from Berg au Laim which is 9 minute walk from the hotel. Staff lovely and friendly. Nice lobby area to chill in during the day or evening.

I've stayed here before, and I'll stay here again. Very convenient location, close to the subway that'll take you downtown but still a very quiet place to stay. The staff was absolutely lovely, I wish I caught his name, but one gentleman at the front desk helped me figure out the German trains and how to get to Stuttgart, I didn't get a chance to thank him, but he made my trip!

Good stay
Hotel was really nice, beds were comfy and room was decent. The shower was easy to use and had decent pressure. The TV was bigger than I've had in other hotel rooms, that was a bonus. The free breakfast was spectacular, best eggs I've ever had.

An excellent hotel. Within walking distance to the train station Berg Am Laim, where you can get to anywhere easily. Hotel is very clean, staff are always kind and helpful. Breakfast is the best of the best. Very close to ALDI and other grocery markets. Highly recommend this hotel. I'll definitely stay at this hotel in the next trip. Thank you to all the hotel staff!

It was our second time staying here this trip. Good location, close to metro, bus stop right out front (though we never used the buses). Quiet. Always felt safe. Clean though our carpets were badly stained. Excellent breakfast. Large variety of hot and cold foods. Bar seems to always be out of drinks except one kind of beer.

The room was good and very clean, though the carpets were quite stained. The breakfast was excellent. It was located fairly close to the metro. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel but we never used it.

Have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels in different countries and have always had a very pleaseant experience. Was disappointed with the carpets (terribly soiled). Also the smallest room given that we were 3 adults. Did appreciated the breakfast

Nice quiet hotel in a leafy suburb of Munich. A short ride on the S bahn to the city centre.. 10 min walk to the station. Plenty of supermarkets close by .

The room was way too small for 2 adults with a child. The rooom had constant noises from the pipes I guess. There was a fire alarm in the middle of the night. Some of the staff spoke very basic English. On the other side, the breakfast was pretty good.

Decent hotel but weak air conditioning!!!!
We stayed here for 3 nights. The stay was ok and breakfast was very good. The hotel is next to a bus stop and about 9 min walk from a metro station which makes it very accessible. Downside - the air conditioning was weak and didn’t cool down the room at all and it was disturbing because of that . They need to improve their air conditioning. Also they didn’t seem to bother much about it.

Hotel has a bus stop right at the edge of the property so getting onto transit for a tourist is simple and easy. Buffet breakfast was excellent and there was lots of staff for the breakfast part Rooms clean - beds comfortable - the odd stain in the carpet. Check in for this property was closed and you needed to go to the Holiday inn (adjacent) but no real issues.

To sum it up a very good hotel. Only thing I encountered that I didn't like was the extremely hot shower, lowest setting of the shower was still super hot almost unbearable

I tried to call Front Office and House Keeping at 10 PM because I need a bag of ice cubes as compress. Nobody picked up the phone. I had to walk to the Holiday Inn (not Express) right next door to get the ice cubes. It's first time I experience a hotel that is not staffed properly. The carpet has dirt and stains in many places. The USB ports do not work in 2 of the 3 rooms we stayed. It's probably time to renovate the whole thing.

General stay was ok and staff pretty helpful but price inflated as it was conference week. My Room had stains all over the carpet when I arrived and due to the fact it was a busy week, there were no other rooms available. I had seen a review prior to going where someone had posted stains on the carpet of the room and figured I would be VERY unlucky to get a room like that. Seems I did get unlucky and maybe got the same room I saw online. Almost like they just don't want to spend time and money on cleaning carpets.

Everything was perfectly clean and very comftable the only thing that is missing is a little banch or somewhere to sit down while having a cigarette outside the hotel.... i understand that it is a non smoking hotel and i respect that but u need to make it comftable for those who respet your laws and go outside to smoke ...... rest was perfect

Under the circumstance (Octoberfest), staff was mostly tolerant. One manager was somewhat confrontational because I had a broken sofa bed and had asked to be moved to a larger room or cancel so that I could book elsewhere. He said no and that it's up to Orbitz. After discussion with Orbitz (I did not get anywhere) I ended up staying in the room so as not to further waste time on vacation... Both organizations should have worked together
