These two are slightly more expensive than some others, but the quality of the beds, staff, faclities, etc, and including the breakfasts, is usually worth it. NOT THIS TIME: The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was cold - not "not warm", cold. The "omelets" were cool at best. After I trashcanned the first plate, I dug another off the bottom of the tray. It was slightly warmer, not warm, certainly not hot. The sausage patties were cold, and tasteless. Worst of all, the traditional highlight of the HI Express breakfast - the cinnamon rolls were also not even warm except on the very top. (They were still quite excellent after I took them to the room and ran them in the microwave for half a minute). Basically, today, 3/25/26, about 7:30, breakfast just wasn't worth it."
