I am very disappointed with my experience at this hotel. We were not given the room that I originally booked. When I asked about it, the staff gave us explanations that were not truthful and claimed that the different room they offered us was actually better than the room we had booked.
However, that was not what I booked or paid for. Regardless of whether they considered the replacement room “better,” I specifically chose and reserved a particular room, and the hotel did not provide what was promised.
I feel that the situation was handled dishonestly and that we were not treated fairly as guests. If the hotel could not provide the room I reserved, they should have been upfront and honest about the situation instead of giving us misleading explanations.
Overall, I am very disappointed that the hotel did not honor my reservation.

It could be so much better if it just did the little things better.
As far as the resort itself, the building and grounds are gorgeous. But design choices make it feel like a 4 star. The room itself is spacious and nice, but old and outdated fixtures and finishing, and a thermostat from the 80s make it feel much cheaper. Also, most guests will also suffer from a shower that leaks into the rest of the washroom, and in particular, the toilet - leaving a sizeable puddle.
There’s no turndown service and the room cleaning leaves something to be desired.
The gym facility is pretty good but the little things like no water on multiple occasions made it again feel like a 4 star resort.
The breakfast buffet is decent but the offerings virtually stay the same (for the 4 mornings we were there).
The staff are lovely and do their best to be super helpful and really go out of their way, but with all bodrum - their English is very limited.
This place can easily be a 5/5 star place with just a little investment in the little things.
