Glamping in Mullagh

A surprisingly beautiful location considering it is right next to the N3, however I hardly noticed the traffic and so enjoyed the other side of the hotel which runs right down to the lakeside (as the name suggests) where you can sit out and sample the hotel's fine food and/or beer. An easy bike ride away is Lough Crew which is well worth a visit for the full 360* panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the megalithic pathway tombs on top of the hill. Hotel staff were all helpful and...

Great stay for a wedding in Cabra Castle, just down the road. Room was clean and perfect for what we needed. Very friendly and welcoming too!

Amazing, as always. We regularly return to Cabra Castle as it is such a wonderful hotel. The staff are so lovely, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is magical. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Uniquelyy beautiful

Beautiful location and charming period building.

Extremely comfortable beds. Clean and quiet. Helpful friendly staff. Great breakfast

Lovely hotel very clean and tidy and staff very friendly. Breakfast was amazing loved having hotfood served and good variety of cereals and fresh juices and pastries. Room was a good size but very very warm shouldn't really be complaining but had to sleep with window wide open. Think it might have been because we were above swimming pool. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Wonderful week away for myself and my partner. Can't thank everyone enough for being treated so special.would highly recommend for anyone who's looking a little tlc away from home. Good luck guys. Hope to see you all again soon. 👍

Great views of Trim castle from the roof bar and surrounding countryside. Shame the entrance doors are not automatic as it would help when trying to get luggage into hotel.

The breakfast was superb and staff brilliant

The food in the bar area was excellent and good value. The only small niggle was there wasn’t a desk lamp in the room.

Lovely staff. Amazing level of hospitality and service. Immaculate hotel. Great food lovely dining room. Comfortable bars and beautiful grounds

I liked the warm welcome from the reception and waitressing staff. The house keeping was excellent. The flowers at the entrance were fabulous. The chef cooks a great steak. The bed was comfy . There is Netflix. It’s good value .

We booked a cabin and received a nice upgrade to a cottage, which was very clean, well decorated, quiet, and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was roomy to cook in, plus there was a nice area to sit outside and gaze at the sweet cows. It's a lovely destination in itself and not far from Trim.

Beautiful property and superb gardens. Tranquil and relaxing. A little gem. Michael & John both great hosts.
