"Very nicely located with a beautiful view on the lake and little marina. Very friendly staff. Nice swimming pool. Easy parking. Complimentary breakfast in a relaxed settings with the view from the large windows. Air conditioning was a little noisy. I didn't find creamer for the coffee machine. Otherwise, everything was perfect and the price was great!"
"I was pleasantly surprised how clean and well run this property was. I have zero complaints. Breakfast was great with everything replenished regularly. Parking was easy and the hotel was in decent proximity to the hospital where a family member was having surgery."
"We had our bikes & we were given a free upgrade to a very nice 1 BR unit since it would have been difficult toget them up stairs for our original room.
Staff was very welcoming, friendly & helpful.
Very nice hot breakfast with real dishes & cutlery. "
"The late night staff at the hotel was amazing, he did whatever he could to make our stay a little better. Unfortunately the day staff was angry and not helpful at all. There was always an excuse or reason as to why she could not do anything. We even witnessed her yelling at a family in the pool. The hotel was unbearably hot and unfortunately smelled quite bad. I am sure in its prime this space was great but it has definitely started to fall apart. Very sad."
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites St. Catharines Conference Center by IHG
6/10 Okay
"The room was not properly cleaned, though the staff was helpful. The exhaust fan in the washroom not working. The fridge smelled awful. The wifi connection was very very poor. There was only one water dispenser in the hotel that was in the gym. The reason why I gave 3 star is because atleast the kids were able to enjoy the pool and the bowling alley attached to the facility(at extra cost). The breakfast was at additional cost but was good."
