  • This Hidden Little Gem is Nessled on the slopes of Mauna Loa on 2 private Gated Tropical acres..Close to Hawaii Volcano National Park and Hilo Town...big deck to relax fold out comfortable futon couch,refrigerator,2 burner stove or BBQ wood Fire pit...so nice..Lava Rock Shower just off the Deck...private and so so nice....Wood burning pizza oven..we grow lots of food.fun place to getaway..just 25 minutes from airport..Solor power..very relaxing something different,fun and peaceful...mahalo

If you like quiet, remote and clean with friendly hosts- this is your place. The bed was super comfortable. The stars can be vividly seen at night and the coqi frogs lull you to sleep. The outdoor shower is awesome. Glen and Lisa were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. You can’t beat the accommodations for the price.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the outdoor patio. Rocking on the chairs to decompress after a busy travel day was perfect. I personally loved the outdoor shower but it was not private - you share it with another unit. Hosts were great and lovely people. Their dogs are so sweet and gentle! They location is a bit of a drive from the main roads to Hilo but excellent access to volcano national park. The unit had everything we could need. Great stay.

Glen has done a wonderful job building his house and should be so proud! He and his wife have put a lot of hard work into the property and it shows! Loved staying at the villa and plan on returning!
