"I’ve stayed at Mandalay Bay several times over the years, and unfortunately the experience has changed significantly — and not for the better. What used to feel like a premium resort with great included amenities now feels like everything comes with an extra charge. Basic items like in-room coffee are no longer complimentary, which is disappointing for a hotel at this price point. The Shark Reef exhibit, which used to be included or reasonably priced, is now around $45 per person. Even the pool experience has changed dramatically — umbrellas and comfortable seating are no longer readily available unless you’re willing to spend a minimum of $250 for a daybed or reserved area just to sit in the Las Vegas heat. Overall, it feels like the hotel is nickel-and-diming guests for things that were once standard. While the property itself is still nice, the added fees take away from the overall value and experience."

"Hard time with the self parking as it didn't give me a ticket so I had to call and ended with a line behind me. Room smelled. Not many waitresses in the casino. Friendly staff!!"

"I would book somewhere else. The room smelled of cigarettes and was dingy. We woke up feeling stiff and out of breath due to the smoke. The check in was all virtual and the staff that were helping resolve issues were rude. It was just not a great experience and when I tried to reach someone immediately about it, there was no response. "
