We knew we were staying cheap, but did not anticipate the noise from both the highway right outside the door, the people wandering past our room, the noise from surrounding rooms ,and the people hanging out and sleeping(?) in the parking lot. The hotel said it offered a breakfast. It didnt. It was not a good start to our vacation

The room was clean, and the staff was excellent. A little noisy in the early morning and afternoon because of the traffic pattern at the front of the motel.

Very easy check in with our dogs who they didn't know we were bringing. They gave us a pet room with no problem just the extra $20 charge. Very helpful and friendly staff

We've stayed at more expensive joints that werent as good as this place. Its priced perfectly for a budget/traveling family.. It perfect. The staff were great.. They seemed to actually like their job... They listened to our son tell stories and even played silly games with him. **They obviously didnt have to (: The restaurant just outside the property (walking distance) is a wonderful choice for breakfast/lunch/supper. All in all.. we were pleased. There arent crazy amenities.. They dont have an elevator. Just comfortable and clean. Anything we wanted (extra towles, soap and pillows) they got to us in moments. We would absolutely visit again A

These hotel rooms are in need of an update. There is a traffic circle right outside the hotel and it seems to be a popular place for people to "gun" their trucks and muscle cars as they speed up the hill.

Overall, this was a very nice hotel with tasteful decorations and clean, fresh smell. The hot tub was drained, but the heated pool was nice. The desk chair in the room was losing its black vinyl covering, but it was fully functional otherwise.

The property is very outdated and dilapidated. The carpet throughout the upper second floor had large holes the sizes of dinner plates at regular intervals. The entire floor had an acrid/pungent aroma so foul it left a disgusting taste in your mouth. By far the worst experience was the proximity to the traffic and constant barrage of highway noise all night. The room did extremely little to dampen the noise resulting in three restless nights. The accommodations are much too overpriced for the lack of quality and comfort. I would most certainly not recommend this hotel for anyone that needed a full night's rest, especially if you are staying to participate in any kind of high-risk recreational activity the following day.

This room was an anachronism. The newest thing in it was the TV, and it was a cheap one. There was no carpeting. The furniture seemed purchased from a garage sale in a poor neighborhood. The bed cover was old and badly needed cleaning. There were no glasses, no tissues, minimal soap, etc. It reminded me of cheap motels I stayed in the 1960s for $25 a night. I was surprised that I booked it through Expedia. The best thing about it was its convenient location. I took a sleeping pill, got up, and left early.

The room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable, so that was good. What we didn’t know was there really isn’t housekeeping, only at check out. So daily, we had to go to the office and ask for coffee, towels, and etc. The property is pretty well maintained, but there was trash in the hallway the entire stay. Even after housekeeping came through, the same trash would just be left, hence the average rating. With little improvements, it could be a better experience. If you are noise sensitive, this location is at a large roundabout and is quite noisy during the day. It didn’t bother us at night.

This was a decent place to stay for a night. It is dated but our room was clean and comfortable. We had our dog with us and our pet friendly room had hard surface floors which was nice. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not to far from Anacortes. Hwy is busy in the day, but quiet at night. Friendly staff. Corner Restaurant has good food. Nice hotel for the price!

Easy location to Anacortes, pillows were not comfortable. Room had a bit of a smell. faucet was loose, Bathroom fan sounded like a plane taking off, only had a heat lamp for lighting. No night lite for dim relaxing. Either bright florescence in use over sink or loud heat lamp setup in br. Called a few days early to confirm we could get early check in at noon and was told done deal. When called to check day of check in told it was a no go, then they checked, which is nice, and they got us in at 1...bonus. So the facility looks pretty nice from the outside but the rooms need an update.. or maybe they are in process and we got an older room.

Nice older property. Staff is very accommodating. Convenient location for Deception Pass, tulips and Anacortes. Quiet though many rooms rented to refinery workers long term.

Dated facility. Beds and bedding old. Some previous damage in the room not repaired and had to pre-authorize a $50 damage deposit which was removed the day after left. When traveling to this beautiful area again will pay more to stay at another lodging.

The price was amazing. The staff was helpful when we needed them. We did not get room service during our stay so can't comment. The place is very old and needs a facelift. I would personally ditch the old bed spreads as they are in terrible condition. We would stay there again since it is very close to the friends we were visiting. We simply needed a quiet, safe cheap place to stay and this fit the bill.
