Shasta. The cottage was walking distance to downtown and a few blocks from a sweet little grocery store. We especially enjoyed the restaurants Pipeline and Drizzle, and cooked breakfast at the house. The enclosed yard in the back was perfect to let the dogs romp around. The front yard is enclosed too, but there is a shorter fence so better for small dogs. My girlfriends and I had a wonderful stay at the house. It was conveniently located to restaurants and activities. The kitchen was well equipped for our stay too. The cottage was perfect for a quick get away. The fire stove kept the cottage cozy and warm. It was close to down town for walking and only a short drive Heart Lake for a hike. Everything is so homey and the cottage has everything you will need for a wonderful and comfortable stay. The host is awesome and is very quick to respond if you have a question. There is a wonderful notebook there with information on anything you might want to do in Shasta. The hiking information is particularly comprehensive. I'll definitely be back. ##### Cheryl H.
