This house was a perfect fit for the four of us - husband and wife plus two friends. Very clean and updated. Backyard is a great space for hanging out. Very well situated, it’s just a short drive to Sullivan’s Island, the heart of Charleston, etc. Great kitchen and dining area! Excellent livingroom and comfortable bedrooms. Plus, the great outdoor fireplace and cushy seating on the patio. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting the area. ##### Mark G. My mom and I stayed here for 4 nights in May 2025\. Great location close to so many things. 10 minutes to historic Charleston, less than that to Mount Pleasant, Sullivan Island and USS Yorktown. Very clean, nice fenced back patio, immaculate bathrooms. Please note that this is a townhouse with bedrooms upstairs, I somehow missed that in the pictures. My mom is 82, so I carried her luggage upstairs. Very convenient parking just for this unit. I would stay here again! Owner was very responsive to my questions when I had them. ##### Jenny M. This home was perfect for our quick weekend in Mt. Pleasant/Charleston before my college students head back to school. We spent one day in downtown Charleston and two days on the beach (1 each at IOP and Sullivan’s). Note: bedrooms are 1 King and 2 Queen rooms. The house is well stocked for cooking in but is also close to everything. Groceries nearby. The outdoor patio area is nice. Owners were good communicators. ##### Mac and Kellie P. The property was very clean and close to everything we needed. My only disappointment was the additional charges for firewood, bikes and golf cart. It was clean and very up to date. The only issue I have to talk about is it is a 2.5 bath not a 3 bath as per the description. But that actually worked out better since the 1/2 bath was downstairs and the other two bathrooms are upstairs. If you are ever in the Charleston/Mt. Pleasant area this is a great place to rent. John was responsive from the start. He promptly answered several questions before we booked, checked in with us proactively after we arrived, and then responded promptly to questions during our stay. The location was perfect, as promised, in a quiet neighborhood in Mount Pleasant, right between the city of Charleston and the beaches of Sullivan's Island and Island of Palms. All were short Uber rides away - not critical to rent a car. And Shem's Creek was a 20-minute walk - a beautiful boardwalk, several restaurants, and dolphins in the harbor.The home was comfortable (great beds) and well-equipped. I especially liked the outdoor space. Nothing negative to say. We'd stay there again. John is an excellent host. ##### David G. Would definitely stay here again! We stay in VRBO homes frequently and this ranks with our top stays. The owner is always available, accommodating to our needs, and quickly responsive to our questions. The house was very clean and had all the essentials provided. Although we did not have perfect weather we still enjoyed the back patio seating. Hardwood floors throughout the home were appreciated. I love that each of the bedrooms had a TV and ceiling fans for comfort. In a quiet neighborhood with people and dogs walking the streets but short distance to everything you need and downtown Charleston.
