HOME THIS IS AN OLDER HOME BUILT IN THE 1950'S THAT STILL HAS TRAITS ASSOCIATED WITH AN OLDER HOME. While there have been some small cosmetic renovations it still has old bones and guests may notice areas of uneven flooring, cracks in ceilings, cracks in paint, etc. If comparing prices in Charleston, we feel it is an affordable alternative to hotels and other homes in the area but anyone expecting luxury accommodations in a brand new house should look elsewhere. In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS for the dates of evacuation. INSECTS As Charleston is situated in a warm, coastal climate it is possible to see insects inside or outside of the home at times. These include palmetto bugs, sand gnats, mosquitoes, ants, etc. Those who reside in the Lowcountry just accept this as part of living here but it may be unsettling for those from other areas. The home is treated regularly for pest control but this will not entirely eliminate insects from getting inside at times. Please do your best to not keep doors and windows open and not leave food or drinks out in the home as this will attract insects. FINDING AN INSECT IS NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND. DAMAGE DEPOSIT A refundable $500 damage deposit will be charged to your card on file and will be automatically refunded if there are no claims for damages.
