Surprise birthday weekend!

We had an excellent stay at the Wow Cottage. Very eclectic art designs and trinkets. Hard to explain. It's a must-see. We surprised my wife with a birthday weekend in Mount Dora. Several times we walked into town to visit the various restaurants and destinations. Highly recommend others to stay at the wow cottage! Liz is great at managing the property and makes your visit feel special.

Great little house

Loved this place. Very quirky with lots of interesting curios. It was well equipped with every convenience and gadget you could think of. 10 minute walk into town. Lovely back yard dining area and porch at the front. Great WiFi. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any messages.

Property and furnishings were amazing. Exceeded my expectations - probably the best VRBO experience we have had. Location is walking distance from the Town. The host went above and beyond. Cant say enough good things about this WOW cottage! We will be back for a longer stay next time!

It was a Wow

This was a great house. Perfect location. The hosts were very nice with a welcome card wishing us happy anniversary. Just looking at all the art or trying an instrument made it fun. We will be back.

Quick Getaway

The WOW cottage was exceptional!! We were in town for the Beach Volleyball national championships in Tavares. The cottage could not have been any better. It was fantastic!! Highly recommend it to anyone!!

The cottage lives up to it's name

Stayed for two nights and really loved the property. Very clear communication made check-in a breeze. The kitchen is very well equipped and the assortment of musical instruments brought out our creative side. Location doesn't get better. We'll definitely be back again!

This cottage is amazing! Beautiful, clean, great location. The cottage has everything in the kitchen you could need. The beds are so comfortable. Definitely WOW!

House was so quaint and cozy, and definitely a WOW experience from the decor to the rooms. Liz the host was GREAT! She was interactive with me and surprised us with goodies for my best friend's birthday. It was only 5 blocks from downtown therefore we never even used our car and enjoyed the downtown experience just as much. Very nice town and would definitely go back again and recommend this house to adults who want a quiet and cozy getaway. THANK YOU Liz!

The best "WOW" stay ever!

We stay at the "WOW" cottage every year in October for the arts and craft festival in downtown Mt. Dora. The house is amazingly decorated with beautiful art of all mediums. The cottage is fully stocked with everything you could need from kitchen items to all household needs. It is clean, comfortable, and inviting. We love sitting on the front porch and having a BBQ in the back yard. The location is perfect for walking into quaint downtown. The local restaurants have a variety of offers and great shopping. We look forward to this stay every year. Thank you Liz and Lee for your warm hospitality.

THE JEWEL OF MOUNT DORA!

The Wow Cottage is a spiritual experience! It is a peaceful house filled with so much joy and loads of character and is an adventure all on its own! You can tell that the owners are passionate about this place and that it was created with love! It's absolutely the jewel of Mount Dora and definitely a place you need to experience for yourself!

The BEST!

This place is so much more than a cottage! Once inside you feel like you've stepped into a true vacation home, stocked with anything you could possibly need. Quirky and fun! The Master bedroom and sitting room made you feel like Royalty. The hosts have a spirit of excellence and couldn't be more attentive. I'm so grateful we chose the WOW Cottage to celebrate our 45th Anniversary week! If we ever return to Mt Dora we will definitely be returning to this treasure!

So Perfect & Unique

The WOW house was just a fun & unique place & my friend & I enjoyed it so much. The hosts couldn’t have been better, so accommodating & helpful in every way. The kitchen had top of the line appliances, beautiful dishes & more. Everywhere you look is decor that is fun & so different. Nice quiet location, & free shuttle to downtown. Take the historic tour. The Wow Cottage

We so enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Unbelievable decor, and such special detail for every spot in the house. Every turn you make you find something new that makes this house very special. It is equipped with everything you need. The location is wonderful. It is five minutes from town and all the great restaurants. This is our second time staying in properties that are hosted by Liz and Lee and I must say every time has been an adventure. Family get together in Mt Dora

The “Wow cottage” was just fantastic!! Mt Dora is a delight to visit and the “Wow cottage” was simply the most wonderful place to stay. Our host could not have been anymore accommodating or nice. Everything we could have needed or wanted was there for us. The host (best one ever) provided all sorts of info about the area. Suggestions for restaurants and even updates on some incoming weather were sent to us during our stay. I can not even begin to describe the home. I simply do not have the words. There were delightful surprises in every corner and nook of the cottage. It was simply a wonderful adventure to explore and discover day after day. My family just loved our stay at the aptly named “Wow cottage”.
