No one phoned us beforehand to notify us when cancelling so we could have at least had some time to make other plans and get a refund. It was so poorly handled. Just had to drive the long journey home and call Hotels.com the next day to even get an offer for a booking reschedule. No interest in trying to stay here again: it was too stressful and incredibly disappointing service. They even said we weren’t the first people this had happened to. Air conditioner was noisy.Is rated 4 star but was well below par. A beautiful location right beside the Mary River. Peaceful and quiet. Cabins were roomy and well fitted out. A minor detail was that one light didn’t work. It was wonderful to have the air conditioner turned on when we arrived.
