Staff were great but was expensive. I thought the charging of an12 year old at adult prices for tours etc was a total rip off when he didn’t drink alcohol or eat much and just a way to earn extra money. We loved our safari tent and how close it put us to nature. Woke up early and listened to the bird calls - which start just before sunrise. The Home Billabong early morning cruise shows just how close you really are to crocodiles and other wildlife. A highlight was seeing a Azure Kingfisher, and a croc crunching down on a turtle. The food was fantastic. Three-course gourmet selection every night. We also took a three-hour flight over Kakadu which I would highly recommend as you can really see the immensity of the park and the changing landforms from savannah to floodplains and along the escarpment to the falls. We also took our 4WD onto the Wildman Track for a great off-road experience. It may seem expensive, but with breakfast and dinner included, and some of the tours (not the flights) it is great value for money.
