This is the perfect place for 2 to stay. Inside, the rooms were very clean and looked fairly new. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, as well as the kitchen area. They had some items stocked on hand, but if you need anything there are stores and restaurants close by. Really the only negatives are very minor, the driveway may be tricky if you are in a big vehicle, and the couch wasn’t the most comfortable, but nothing bad at all. Airy The owner communicated well, the unit was clean. It was nice being so close to downtown Mt. Airy, my wife and I just walked over to the downtown area, it was really convenient. The only negative that I might have is the mattress on the bed wasn't very comfortable and there was kind of a musty smell when we first got there, but the smell either went away or we got used to it. There was a clothes line in the back yard that was handy. The bed was comfortable. The futon worked for my 13 year old. The two portable AC units both worked well. The check in and check out process was easy. You can hear live music outside but it was not loud enough that is was an issue inside. Music can be enjoyed from the yard but is not bother some at all if you want to rest. It was a good place to stay. ##### Heather F. The location was perfect. We even had an amphitheater so close we could enjoy the music and never leave home. Our only complaint would be the couch which was uncomfortable for us. It's pretty hard and straight but for the few days we were there, we managed with pillows. The chair was very comfortable. Parking is tight for a F150 but we managed. This was our first trip to Mt Airy. We loved the town and surrounding area. If you don't want a view and just want a place within walking distance of town, this place would work. ##### Dena B.
