"Great place and a beautiful property. Very peaceful and relaxing but still with lots of activities to do. The cabin was nice and cozy and the perfect size. My dog had tons of space to explore both on land and in the water. The rooms are small but cozy and exactly what you need! Cara was quick to answer with any questions we had and very kind. Overall we had a great stay and hope to come back soon!"

"What an amazing stay, what an amazing property. The grounds are exactly as pictured, actually, better. Some other properties are a bit deceptive in their advertisements, making them look secluded when you have houses on both sides; not the case here. The part of the lake on which this cabin is situated has only three neighbors, and they are very well spaced. We felt secluded, we felt private, we felt relaxed. The host gave clear instructions, no complaints there. The beds were comfortable, and were the furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms very clean and up to date. There were multiple options s for getting on the water like paddle boards, a canoe, a row boat, a kayak, and a floating foam dock in the lake.If you happen to be a forager, there were multiple edible mushrooms right on the property like black trumpets and boletes, along with plenty of inedible to know you’re mushrooms before you consume.The house rules book was very useful, though it could be updated as some information was excessive like laundering all sheets etc before you leave; this was confirmed as incorrect and to be disregarded by the host.If I had one critique, it would be that the beds had no fitted sheets and some pillow cases missing so we had to dig around to find them. As the pillows had no cases I would say they are well used and could use replacing. Personally I didn’t care, I would return tomorrow if I could."

Kathleen was quick to respond and try to fix the problem but wasn’t able to figure it out while we were there. Despite this we had a great time"

"We had a nice 2 night visit…. Super pet friendly(for “good” dogs)… Very modest, cozy and comfortable! Hosts (neighbors, but private) were terrific although we didn’t chat much I know they were totally there if needed…! Everything you need is there from gas range, Wi-Fi, AC, Sauna to quality heat if you go up in the winter… space is tight, but comfortable! I’d definitely go back. Lake is beautiful and serene… (Bring water shoes if you wanna swim…) its slippery going in but there’s a dock and a raft you can use anytime and… at least at this time of year, the water was amazing…"

"Our stay at Bethany's cottage in the woods was great! The cabin is cozy, private but not secluded, it was a quick trip to town!We loved the hot tub and sauna and we had more then enough space for the 4 of us who stayed. We would definitely stay again, hopefully in the summer the next time to see the cottage with all the beautiful trees!"
