Homely holiday let, well furnished comfortable home within walking distance of the seaside town of Amble. Amble has a small fishing harbour where you can watch the catch of the day arriving. Pods form a small retail village selling a variety of art, crafts, jewellery, food and drinks, and a Sunday market. There are many good quality restaurants, cafes and friendly pubs in the town and surrounding area, as well as as good quality local shops. You can visit the nearby Hauxley nature reserve or walk for miles on unspoilt beaches, Amble is also an ideal base to explore our beautiful Northumberland coast line. The market town of Alnwick with the famous Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Garden is only 9 miles to the north and definitely worth a visit, you could also pop in to Barter Books one of the largest secondhand bookshops in Britan, which includes a cafe where in the winter you can sit next to a roaring open fire. Rachael’s Rest truly is a comfortable home from home, with everything you could need. Ground Floor Cosy sitting room, smart TV, free internet and Netflix. DVD player with a small selection of DVDs and music CDs, a selection of books and games. Fully-equipped kitchen with table and chairs, ceramic hob, single oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, slow cooker, kettle, toaster, Ironing board/iron.
