This place needs a complete overhaul. It appears they have let the elements do their work for two years during the pandemic, and they have made little to no effort to renovate since. Room rates are astronomical given the state of disrepair. At almost $200 per night it's disgraceful. We just felt ripped off frankly. Food is poor. Breakfast was truly aweful. Staff are friendly, especially Kathy (5 stars), but the resort is severely understaffed. AirCon loud as a train! And WHAT happened to once great 'Reef' Resto? Meals come with cheap, thin, frozen fries. Gone is their amazing breakfast buffet (Covid rules) but instead got a plate of WRONG style eggs, under done tocino, and rice....included a 7,400p room price. We called 2 pm to get cable fixed, he arrived 7 pm...cable also a joke est 20 channels worked of 100. 4-Star> parking, pillows-bed, rest. staff, bartender, beach&water, pool@night. Left side = NOISY pool 8am till 10 pm. Right side; microphone announcer of the Aqua Park BLARES into room LOUDER than TV 10-5 am. Front wall thin and teenager partying till 11. Back wall; squeaking old wooden beds/head board. AND ceiling; over our room was a storage room or party hall, hears table and chairs moving, scraping till 2 am. Two nights sleeping with a pillow over my head for $260, huh!. The 'Welcome cocktail' only avail from 3-5 (huh?) taste like Kool Aid, with 2% alcohol. NIGHTMARE ordering from Menu; 1st meal was messy tacos, NO Napkins! Then wife had to get up and get her OWN catsup after asking twice. Dinner meal, I had Beef Caldereta (Tomato beef stew) yet NO tomato taste, oily, and meat (see photo) had 20 chunks of FAT, gross....WONDERFUL: two things that hotel doesn't control? Beach is grade A clear water, white sand, no vendors. And parking lot is giant, big enough for buses. Finally breakfast buffett A plus.
