"Looks grand from the outside and reception, with beautiful grounds. It’s dated. Very dated! We booked the cheapest room so walked a few miles in corridors getting lost in lifts that only go to certain rooms and then a stairwell that was really smelly. We had drinks in the bar, asked for coke was given Pepsi without being asked if I was ok with that and then the £4 small bowl of fries was literally cold. No need to return. "

"Our 2 day stay at the hotel was good .was very clean and staff very nice . We didn't eat there so can't comment on food it's in a great location everything within walking distance . The only downside was having to pay £36 for 2 nights parking within the hotel grounds A paying customer shouldn't be billed for this and I only found out about this the day before we arrived ."
