We had my husband’s 50th surprised birthday party there! We had no idea that there was a home for renting in Lakeside. When we go out fishing or just for sport, we have mostly used the Steal Creek Park boat ramp. The only road into and out of the park, is the same road that this beautiful property is located. We had plenty of room for everyone. It was cold, so we didn’t do much outside, but the kids still walked down to the lake and played some horse shoes. Plenty of room for gathering in different spaces; the design of the home is really interesting; we liked it. Clean and comfortable. Well-stocked kitchen. Property manager was very responsive. The view of the lake is not amazing, but okay. It's peaceful and quiet there. Neighbors are not particularly close by. Needed some lightbulbs for the outside deck. Check in/out procedures were clear and easy. One television in the whole house -- it's in the living area and is one of the best and easiest to use TVs that we've encountered in a VRBO. Bunk beds are both upstairs in an open area, and there are more downstairs in the living/dining/kitchen open area. No garbage disposal. Lovely trees close to the house and they can be seen from both floors - really beautiful. Closest grocery store was 20 minutes away (Family Dollar was five minutes)...there's not much to do or see in the area, except the lake of course. Primary bedroom/bath downstairs is huge and well appointed. Two upstairs bedrooms are much smaller, but nice enough. Could use some updated window treatments. ##### Katherine G. The house was big, clean and very nice - everything in the description. Nice view of the lake. We were able take advantage of the grill, corn hole and horseshoes. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit and make s’mores they left because the Aggies were beating ‘Bama!!!! WHOOP! ##### Alan J. The house was easy to find and in a nice location, short distance from the water. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, everything clean and well maintained.
