When is the best time to go to Morcellement Raffray?

The best time to go to Morcellement Raffray is during the dry season, which runs from May to December. This period generally offers cooler, less humid weather and lower rainfall, making it ideal for outdoor activities and enjoying the island's natural beauty. You'll find the conditions superb for exploring the Black River Gorges National Park or relaxing on the beaches. Couples often find May to June and September to October particularly appealing. These months fall outside the peak holiday periods, meaning fewer crowds and a more tranquil experience. You can enjoy romantic sunsets and quiet dinners without the bustling atmosphere of the high season. For families, the school holidays in July and August can be a good option, as the weather remains pleasant for beach days and exploring.

"Highly recommendable. Everything I need was there and it was clean everywhere though I stayed a room without bath, toilet and kitchen. Calm area but easy to go other town such as Port Louis or Curepipe etc,. Train station, boulangerie(napolitaine available!), briyani shop(tooo much for a single touirst!), convenience store nearby. And what I loved most is the host. She warmly welcomed me and took care of me. I miss her :')"

"I didn’t know what to expect when I booked this, but I can say I was not disappointed! Having come from a busy resort on a nearby island, Villa Anakao was definitely more my vibe. The room was incredible. I loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening with a glass of wine. The food was also incredible. I truly felt like I was more than just a guest here. I wish I had spent more time here, and would love to come back one day!"

Sugar Beach Mauritius

10/10 Excellent

"Family holiday for 9 nights - 2 adults 3 kids (9,16,17). Fantastic week, cannot fault the resort everything was pretty much perfect. All inclusive took out the concern about unexpected bills. Excellent food - even buffet was huge selection, very high quality, and varied themes every day. Never felt overly full even on a busy week, sunloungers could be found. Pool lovely. Youngest enjoyed the kids entertainment which he dipped in and out of. Lots of kayaks and boats to use. Cannot fault. And I usually find something!"

Ocean’s Creek Beach Hotel Mauritius

10/10 Excellent

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in La Pirogue, Wolmer Mauritius as a family for 4 nights. Our stay was excellent and we found the resort exactly in the same condition as seen in the pictures. While there was a bit of confusion in the airport taxi pick up, but i wouldn't take away a single credit from this resort, its excellent amenities, courteous staff, and good food. The hospitality is top class, and the best part is that you can spend days in the resort with your family as they have so many things to do. La Pirogue made our vacation really memorable, and we would definitely stay if we returned to Mauritius again."

Le Meridien Ile Maurice

8/10 Good

"We only had a short stay and didn’t get to use all the facilities to hand. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was that we were unable to use the adult only pool due to not booking in to the Nivarna area considering that the pool area was only 50% occupancy. I do think this policy needs to be reviewed."
