BEWARE - Additional €1 pp per night CITY TAX
We were overcharged as the hotels.com website said €72.00 incl. tax and fees but the hotel asked us for an extra €2.00 for city tax. Location - centrally located with a short walk to the town centre Parking - free on the road The reception staff were friendly but they stop working at 8pm. Given the price of the room I would have expected tea and coffee making facilitates and a later reception. Clean but overpriced hotel.

What does the sign really say?
Breakfast is €9.50 and has fresh local breads and fruits as the highlights with yogurt and cereal also. The hotel is one street off a busier street so while not simple to find, it is very quiet. There are a few signs pointing to the hotel which helps. It is really close to an avenue full of food options and a cinema. Food options are many including a creperie, pizza, Indian, French. A few blocks more towards the church and there are even more. Hint for you Americans: The single room is tiny and the toilet is 'in' the room. Get over it. The lady hostess speaks a small amount of English. I speak 5 words of French and was able to check in/out and have breakfast no problems.

A great hotel
Was staying with other graduate students and our professors for a conference. We were all made to feel really welcome, the lovely couple running the hotel were fantastic, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Fantastic value for money and would definitely stay in the future and recommend to anyone.

Hôtel sympathique, chambre correct un peu petite néanmoins. Le gros point noir survenue durant mon séjour est qu'une personne exterieur à l'hôtel mais travaillant pour le gérant soit rentré dans ma chambre avec sa propre carte, sans mon autorisation et alors que j'y étais. Selon moi ce genre de comportement est inadmissible. En aucun cas quelqu'un devrait pouvoir rentrer dans une chambre occupée sans avoir eu son accord. Cela pose de sérieuses questions de sécurité (pour le client, ses affaires etc.) Et peut engendrer des situations très désagréable (rencontre en sortant de la douche ??). Et puis, tout cela pour effectuer des petits travaux dans une chambre occupée et à 18h le soir ?? Pas très serieux, je ne reviendrai plus

Cher Monsieur, Dans les hôtels, le personnel de ménage et techniciens sont présents pour maintenir et entretenir les locaux. Si vous ne souhaitiez pas être dérangé, il y avait à votre disposition un panneau a fixer sur la poignée "NE PAS DERANGER". Notre personnel est de confiance. Le technicien en question a frappé à la porte avant d'entrer puisqu'il n'y avait pas de panneau. Vous n'avez répondu que quand il s'apprêtait à rentrer. Il n'a pas franchi le seuil de votre porte et est reparti. Nous trouvons vos propos toutefois un peu demesuré et nous espérons vous revoir afin que vous puissiez avoir une meilleure expérience. Moka Hôtel Lorient est un très bon hôtel situé au calme. Tous les contact avec l’accueil on été très agréable. Merci à tous. La chambre était tres propre et la salle d’eau étincelait. Le petit déjeuner était très correct et les produits présentés de qualité. Vraiment bien. Le stationnement de notre voiture était dans la rue mais rue calme. Non loin il y a un parking que l’on a vu en partant. Belle expérience.

Un hôtel très agréable avec un accueil chaleureux. La chambre était parfaite, très propre et la literie très confortable. L'hôtel est dans une rue au calme mais à proximité du centre ville, du cinéma et de la gare. Je reviendrai avec plaisir!
