"Beautiful view out of our room. Room was clean and quiet but the water pressure in the shower was not good. Also the hairdryer was broken. Everything else was perfect!"

"We enjoyed our stay overall. The property was spacious, comfortable, and had a charming, cozy feel. Some of the furnishings and decor are a bit older, but they add to the character of the place. We also appreciated that a crib was provided, which was very helpful for families traveling with young children. Guests should be aware that there is NO air conditioning, and the house can get quite warm during hotter weather. One tip for future guests: be sure to follow the directions provided by the host in their email rather than relying solely on Google Maps, as the host's instructions were much more accurate and helpful for finding the property. The bathroom was very clean, and we appreciated the space the home provided for our group. While there were a few areas that could benefit from a deeper cleaning, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed our time here."

"This is a very cool property in Eastsound. As the pictures show, it's a very unique home which makes for a cool stay! A few things to note: 1) You will be waking with the sun--the windows provide gorgeous views, but if you know you're wanting to sleep in, bring an eye mask. 2) As other reviews have noted, the bathroom is located in the main house, which is separate from the two sleeping quarters, so just something to be aware of if you tend to get up in the night. 3) I was on a solo stay, and I was uncomfortable leaving the main house unlocked all night, so I locked all of the back doors and went out the front door at night and then around the main house to the sleeping house. Again, just something to be aware of!4) Regarding the bathroom: the soaking tub is fantastic for taking a bath, but makes hair washing a little more difficult--there is not a secret shower on property ;)This was a very cool rental, but if I had to do it again for a solo trip, I think I would have booked a stay at one of the inns in town for ease of access and my personal feelings of security. I think this would be an amazing home for 2-3 people who really want a secluded stay in a beautiful venue!"

"Property was perfect for two couples with two king ensuites separated by small living room and well-stocked kitchen. View was amazing, and 3 balconies were perfect for relaxing. We even saw a bald eagle soar over the water and into the trees. Thank you for a lovely two days."

"It’s a beautiful property, we wish we could have stayed longer. It was as described, very clean. Great communication with hosts. They even left out dog bowls and treats. It is close to Moran State Park for hiking, boating and the spectacular view from Mt. Constitution. The only small drawback was the front door. I hadn’t planned ahead to get the door code and there is no WiFi connection to look it up without getting into the house. Owner was most accommodating when I called him for the code. I recommend getting the code before you get to the house. We took advantage of the hot tub after our hike and the pool table downstairs. Great for a family including our furry members.Jill Petty"

"We had a great weekend at Mandala house. We enjoyed making breakfast and dinner in the well stocked kitchen. The host provided fresh coffee beans from an Orcas roaster was a nice treat each morning! We also took a hike to the beach at Obstruction Pass and explored the garden and forest. The home is cozy and spacious. The tulips in the garden are about to bloom, a treat for other April guests!"
