"This home was so magical and fun! Tucked away in the forest we had nothing but privacy and felt very safe. The home was easy to locate and get in and out of as well as ensuring everything was locked behind us. This was about a 25 min drive to the Main Street on Orca Island, Rosario mansion where a lot of kayak or whale watching tours leave from, and even closer to Mount Constitution; maybe 20 min from the ferry terminal. The only thing that is important to consider when booking this location is the shower situation. You have to step down into a standing tub of sorts and hold the shower handle above you and then be able to step back out onto the floor (about 2.5-3 feet I’d guess) with no steps leading you out. Definitely not an ADA accessible set up and probably not best for young children or older renters with limited mobility."

"Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be nice to have- the tall windows shades in the living areas cannot be drawn down so the home gets quite warm(July) when you’re away for the day and put a glare on the TV. 2 sets of towels per person would also be nice. Overall nice location- deer outside the home every day!"

"Wow! This property was just as stunning as the island. Great location with a gorgeous view. Beautifully updated with plenty of room for our large family both inside and out. Everything was clean, comfortable, and the host was very accommodating. Highly recommend."

"There was urine on the carpet in the bedroom and on a bed in the loft upstairs. Most of the dishes were dirty when we took them out. There is a loud noise that vibrates the entire cabin for several hours. Other than that it is a lovely cabin"

"Fantastic home! We most enjoyed the private beach area and the hot tub. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed. We appreciated the small cooler in the closet that we borrowed to keep our drinks cold on our chartered fishing trip. My daughter and husband enjoyed playing games on the nice chess board each night. Beds were cozy, plenty of pillows--everything we needed to make our 10 yr annivsary trip to the island perfect! The home was a great location near town with a beautiful road. Would definitely love to stay here again!"
