"This house was perfect for our family trip. The house was meticulous, clean, well organized, and had everything we needed to make our family vacation a blast. It was on its own private beach on Lake Michigan, beautiful sunset and sunrises lots of wildlife to be seen and only 10 to 15 minutes away from the port to Mackinaw. We felt like we were staying at a friends house as the host was extremely considerate to his guests, having very nice soaps, shampoos, and even left us a festive table...

Second, we were basically told "good luck" about using the oven, which would have been nice to know before we bought groceries. "While vacationing, we prefer to stay off the grid from the attractions, but like to be close enough to have quick access. We loved this cabin! It was clean and cozy with a beautiful view. We looked forward to arriving back to the cabin nightly following our adventures to cook dinner in the grill, relax lakeside and enjoy the view. If we visit the area again, we’ll definitely book here."

"Cabin was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Walked the Mighty Mac which was an amazing experience. Loved the way the cabin was decorated. The only suggestion we would have is putting some slip resistant Tape in the claw foot tub. Very slippery and there is nothing to hang onto to assist you"

"The stay on Carp Lake was a pleasant stay. The location is great for visiting Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island. It is just a short 10 minute drive. The kitchen was great. The beds, bedding, and pillow were comfortable. The view from the living room and porch is incredible. The only thing I would change would be to make the address pop out a little more. We found the cabin based on the picture on VRBO. It wasn't until we were leaving on the last day that I saw the address on a post."

"We had a blast this past week. The cabin had the perfect up north feel! The trees between the properties offered a lot of privacy and shade. We brought the boat up, and everyone had such a great time at the dune/sandbar (which has a rope swing that the kids played on for hours.) The adults enjoyed beverages in the sun playing water games.
