"The room was not what we were expecting. The flooring was very soft and uneven we were sinking into the floor. The bathroom was not clean, we were scared to shower and when we did we wore shower shores that we had to go spend extra money on. "The beds were very uncomfortable and the blankets had cigarette burns in them. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything up. There was dust everywhere and on the blinds, and the refrigerator froze our food. Also the faucet in the bathroom shot water sideways, like a prank water fountain and no broom to sweep sand that is tracked in. The hotel pool area was kinda scary looking- we didn’t use the pool. The view from the cabin front door was exceptional, tho."

Best Western Plus Dockside Waterfront Inn

"Best Western is nothing if not consistent. Room, bed, pillows, towels, etc. were standard Best Western fare (which is why I prefer Best Western when I travel). The room was large, clean and comfortable. It was right on the lake and I was able to walk on the beach for some much needed exercise after my long drive. The property is within walking distance of many, many local restaurants and shops. The hotel was full of a girl scout convention of sorts and you wouldn't have known unless you visited the pool. The hotel was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was good and hot with something for everyone. The staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating. "
