"It was a lovely stay. We got more than we expected! Including TWO beach view patio. 1 1/2 bathrooms, half bath in the living area and a full bath downstairs. TWO tvs, one in living room and one in bedroom. Full size kitchen and closet. Plenty of cookware and a whole bunch of extras like board games, chess, DVDs, water shoes. They had everything we needed. We were even given a complimentary wine bottle for my BF's birthday. My only "complaint" is that we couldn't access the beach/water in our regular shoes. Maybe this depends on time of year and tide being higher/lower. We didn't realize we had water boots until it was too late. But it was still great. View was beautiful, living space was spacious and nice, lots of bird watching opportunities. We even had a telescope in our apartment. It was overall a lovely stay. Cobblestone pizza is legit. Bier one brewery is perfect for a local feel. Mos has great clam chowder. Rogue brewing was also fun. Thanks newport! I hope to come back!"

"Our view was absolutely stunning. The room wasn’t as accessible as I thought it would be, we had to climb up several stairs to get to and from our room, the restaurant and the recreational areas. Other than that, the room was wonderful and our one night stay was great!"

"This hidden gem was amazing. If we pass by this way again we will definitely try to stay here again! I was looking for a room with a nice ocean view since this was kind of a once-in-a-lifetime trip. I came across this and said "why not?" Best decision I could have made. When you pull up in the parking lot, it doesn't seem that impressive. When we went into the room, that's where the establishment shines. The room was cozy and comfortable. It had everything you could possibly think of on hand. The view was so breathtaking. It was a bit chilly outside when we arrived, but that didn’t stop us from sitting out on the porch and watching the waves and the sunset. We just had the temp set indoors so we were nice and warm once we came in. It was an easy drive to find food. It was a great location to explore more of the Coast. I just wish we had more time to spend here because there was so much to see and do. The room itself was quiet. We didn’t hear much noise from neighbors and the place seemed full. We were very sad to leave. We had a really nice chat with the proprietor when we were checking out. It's nice to feel like you spent your money wisely and staying here accomplished that for sure. My only complaint was the fact that sand follows you everywhere after you've been walking in it. I think we're still finding it and we've been home for over a month! It was easy access to the beach, so the sand is entirely on us... In short, great place to stay. No regrets! "

"it is a beautiful well kept property in a spot that is not so well kept. Great breakfasts and nice and responsive staff. televisions are available on request, but the set up may prove awkward since there is no designated space in the room. The property has nice sitting outside areas around the property. Access to Agate beach is via a small steep path. Parking is provided in a covered area. Ocean House is not in walking distance to restaurants or shopping. The firepit pic is misleading since when you sit there the surrounding hedges totally block the view onto the water! "
