"Great beds and loved having the fridge and micro in the room. View is spectacular and having a balcony with chairs to enjoy is lovely. Parking is great and plentiful. The outdoor carpet coverings on walkways are pretty warn and don’t look great but most things looked pretty well kept. I was extremely impressed with Georgie’s restaurant on site. Great food, staff and views. I will go there again even if not staying at the Hallmark. Really enjoyed our time in Newport."

"Super location on the beach and a wonderfully charming hotel. The rooms are individually decorated in concert with the literary theme of the hotel, which is filled with books in every nook and cranny, and furnished with comfy club chairs. I had a delightful breakfast after my complimentary cortado. It's worth a detour or a destination weekend. "

"The room had tape on the floor witch was a tripping hazard. They was hair in the tub. The chair was falling apart and the bed had had metal hook that was hanging out and grandson and husband ran it to them. "

"Parking is easy, the ocean is right out the window! The decks are fabulous and it's close to shopping etc"

"The room was so filthy I couldn’t stay even one night of my 5 day reservation. The staff said I would get a refund but at this point 3 weeks later no refund . "

"The property is being kept up and the ADA room we were in was recently painted. The bed was comfortable. This is a very basic motel right off the main highway but it was still quiet. There was a refrigerator, TV, microwave and hairdryer. There are several fast food places and quick markets nearby plus it's only a few minutes drive to old town Newport or Nye Beach"
