"Great location and beautiful property and area. Breakfast was also great easy and quick. Only issue is not with hotel but that area needs more restaurants especially ones open after 6pm."

"The Fireside Inn is beautiful. The best was it can be described is quaint. It makes you feel like you are at home. It was so comfortable and welcoming. Next time we are in New Hampshire we will be booking a room there for sure! Highly recommend. Staff are amazing and the atmosphere is great."

"I love staying at historic houses and this one was absolutely beautiful. I had breakfast in the window seat. The grounds were beautiful to look at. The bed was comfy. I loved opening my window and allowing the fresh forest air into the room. The hotel staff were so nice. The breakfast was baked muffins, croissants, banana breads, fruit, teas and coffee. The only deal breaker for me was the tub. After a week of hiking in the forest all I wanted was to soak in a tub and there was no drain or switch to stop the water from draining. I had to use a wash cloth as a stopper and that only worked so much. I also wished I had been housed in the historic home directly but instead it’s in rows of housing attached to the home. Still I did love this experience and would definitely come again and bring my own stopper."

"Liked the staff, pool, weight room and breakfast. Disliked (very in-expensive) no clock in room, no pen and writing pad. When leaving, well before check-out time door key stopped working while taking trips of luggage to car. Had to find staff."

"The front desk staff were wonderful. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was better than I expected. Loads of variety. The property could use a facelift - - fresh paint etc. The blind in our room was broken. Now all in all it waas a very pleasant stay. I would stay here again."
