"Overall this was a great hotel for the price. Although its on the older side everything is clean and functional. Breakfast was a bonus with a good variety that included bacon and eggs, fruit and pastries and meat and cheeses. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. Plus the location is close to all the main sites, restaurants and tours in the City. I would stay again. "

"our shower leaked water all over. It was not possible to take a shower without leaking water. The bedsheets were not fitted. They were just loose sheets. And the room was not nice."

Bars, cafes and other places to eat are within easy walking distance of Amerian. This hotel would be my first choice for future stays in Mendoza."

"Wonderful all around! The hosts were great communicators and provided great tips including the massage services of Angel, who was amazing (one of the best massages my husband and I ever had). Breakfast was well appointed and the property in pristine condition. Only a couple blocks away from Aristides St and Sarmiento St, and 20 min away from the airport the location cannot be beat! Highly recommend :)"

"When we arrived, we discovered there is a gas leak from the kitchen stove, and we let the owner know immediately. He told us to shut off the valve, but the gas continued to spread up to the upper floor where we were staying. It was worrisome And very stinky. He did not come to deal with it. When we were leaving for dinner, right next-door there was a club that started playing very loud music. This continued until 4 AM in the morning. It was a terrible experience all around. The owner should've been more on top of things. I asked for a refund, and the owner stated that if I wasn't pleased by the next morning that we could have a refund for the remaining three days. Then when we asked for the refund, he gave us a hard time and we only received two days of refund. We spent a lot of time dealing with this, and then we had to still find accommodation for the rest of our stay."
