This was our 3rd time staying at Mikes cabin in the winter. We absolutely love coming up to arrowhead in the winter. The cabin is super nice the area is beautiful and is so quiet and peaceful after it snows.
Unbelievable. Cabin was awesome. So peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. We got extremely lucky and we were even able to see the Northern Lights. Also saw plenty of dear, elk, and a fox.

The cabin is a great place for a tranquil, off-the-beaten path getaway. It has all the comforts of home, is clean, well-equipped and ibeautifully furnished. The instruction manual is detailed so you are never left wondering about anything. Lots of wildlife, places to walk and ways to keep busy (or not-a great place to just unwind). Would definitely stay here again.
Clean, cozy, comfortable and the stove kept us warm all day and night. We were lucky enough to see Elk and meet a few neighbors. Unique neighborhood in tbe winters and I sure amazing in the summers. Thank you for such a beautiful home.
The cabin was very nice. We felt relaxed as soon as we got there. And relaxation was the whole point of ditching the grid for a few days. Plenty of wildlife in the area and the weather was great. We’ll be hoping for a return trip sometime in 2024.
This was our second time staying at Mikes cabin. It is an absolute blast to be there in winter. We rented a snowmobile and had a ton of fun riding it to a sledding hill or on the trails in the national forest near arrowhead. Snowshoeing to the lodge in the evening for a burger and a margarita is a ton of fun and we played bingo there on Wednesday. We will be making this an annual trip for sure.
Love the cabin. Everything one needs for a great stay. Our second time here. Hope to be back. Fished at big blue creek, drove into yankee boy basin. Had some good meals in lake city. Love just sitting on the porch and taking in the wildlife and weather.
Our stay was amazing, we have stayed in the area in the past so we`re familiar with the area. This cabin suited our needs perfectly, if your planning a trip to this area I highly recommend this cabin for your home away from home.
Cabin was amazing. The photos do not do it justice. We had a great time and will for sure book this cabin for our next trip there. No issues at all. Everything was perfect!
The cabin was just as it was advertised EXCEPT the porch was much more amazing than we expected. We had coffee on the porch in the mornings and adult beverages on the porch after dark! A lovely place for just the two of us and maybe a couple more!
We would highly recommend this log cabin! It is well stocked and has everything you could possibly need. Loved sitting on the front porch and watching the deer walk through the property, every day. Beds were comfortable so every morning woke up rested. Loved everything about it!
Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed, kitchen had it all. Wood stove kept us so warm we had to open the doors a couple times to cool off. Peace and quiet surrounded us in the beauty of a 10,000 mountain range in a deep blanket is snow. All we had to do was relax.

Highly recommended all around!
The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a week in tranquility, surrounded by peace and wildlife.
The cabin was well stocked with everything we could desire and more.
The host, Mike, was extremely communicative before, during, and after our visit.
We had no issues or concerns during our week long stay. We would not hesitate to return!
Beautiful home in an incredibly peaceful area. Not too many places left in the world where you can walk outside and not hear any traces of man (Cars, factories etc) but this is one. Probably the most well appointed home we've ever rented, truly made us feel welcome. I had mentioned to Mike earlier that we were hoping to make it to the home in time to catch my favorite college football team and not only did we barely make it on time, the satellite TV was already tuned to the channel our game was on. Might have been a coincidence but based on the thoughtful appointments of the rest of the home, it just might have been been stellar customer service. Really enjoyed our trip.
Beautiful cabin exactly as described. Super clean and neat. Appliances and grill were in great condition - loved having washer and dryer! House is stocked with all necessities. Definitely off the beaten path so very quiet (except on weekends when there are more OHVs). Wonderful and helpful hosts. Only main issue is Hwy 50 construction but if you plan your outings around when roads are open, it’s super easy. We went to see Black Canyon, hiked in Curecanti Wilderness twice and also Big Blue Trail and even went the back way to Lake City one day in our Toyota Highlander and were just fine with driving back roads. Also, make sure to eat at Arrrowhead Lodge - we did three times and the staff was great and food was good! On weekends they have music and a nice size crowd just large enough to make it festive! We loved our stay and we’re sad to leave!!!
