It is located in a duplex from fin-de-siècle with a lot of modern upgrades. It is a mix of old and new with a lot of charrm and character. Tourists will find all the appliances and cookware one could need. 3 closed bedrooms (2 queen-sized bed, 1 double bed). One bathroom. TV with NETFLI in the living room and in the third room which is on the ground floor. Washer and dryer with iron. Private entrance. Smokers have access to 2 balconies to enjoy (access from the kitchen, the other from the master bedroom). The free parking in the street is easy and not crowded. Tourists are often able to park right in front of the building. The apartment is on the 2nd story of a 2 story building, so there is a small staircase to climb. Regarding the third bedroom on the ground floor, people allergic to animals will not be able to stay because my two (2) dear cats live exclusively on the ground floor. No pets allowed. No hidden fees : cleaning and taxes included in the rental price. Deposit : $ 300 CAD. I appreciated having a large amt of towels and a really nice washer and dryer. Everything was very clean. The host Marie-Anne was helpful and kind and always available. It is about a block away from a gym that gives day passes, grocery store, Tim Horton’s, McDonalds, and a subway station. Everyone in the area seemed very nice. The reason I gave this 3 stars is because there are 2 bedrooms and a pullout couch, each queen sized but the listing clearly says there are 4 separate rooms. It was too small for my family and my teenage kids had to share beds. I told the owner(who is ver very nice) that we would stay that night and asked if she would refund us for the rest of the stay do we could get a hotel. Her solution was to have one of my children sleep downstairs in her house. I obviously wasn’t comfortable with that so I declined. We spent the remainder of our trip being scrunched into the apartment. If we were a family of 4 this would be 5 stars but I fee it’s misleading to say it has 4 separate bedrooms ##### armando d. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the outside spaces were relaxing, and the host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. It’s also very close to the metro so we were anywhere in the city within 10/15 mins. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe. And a big grocery store is a block away! The location was perfect for catching the Metro or for walking to restaurants in the neighborhood. Outdoor seating on the deck overlooking the beautiful gardens was a bonus. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen and sitting area are well designed for hanging out. House was wonderful. The only difficulty is one of the bedrooms is downstairs.
