Decent grocery store in nearby town. We bought firewood right across the road from the Richelieu. Recommend bringing your own axe for splitting, as there wasn't one there. Try the soft serve ice cream with multiple dip flavours at Dépanneur Du Village Val-Des-Bois!The cottage and grounds need some TLC, but overall a comfortable stay."

There was a large dining room table with candles provided.Garbage disposal was convenient. Plenty of firewood was available for the hot tub & fire pit.The small lake was OK, but a bit weedy. There were lots of kayaks & a pedal boat available.Sleeping 12 would be a stretch...there were 5 bedrooms, each with one double bed. It should also be noted that the property is in a small village, although the swimming area is very private.Aside from these quibbles, we had a very enjoyable stay."
