This is a very nice hotel that is conveniently located near the main square in the historic area. It is also within easy walking distance to the train station. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and well maintained. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Montpelier.

Stayed in a delux room. Had a great view from the balcony overlooking the Place de la Comedie. Room itself was huge with a massive (unused) round bathtub, the bathroom on the other hand was tiny. So small there wasn’t even room for a washbag around the sink. The room could have been cleaner, when the bathroom door was shut you could seem old grime on the floor. The extractor did not work in the bathroom either. Great coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods, but curiously bottled water was chargeable at €3 a (small) bottle. Hotel bar didn’t seem to be open particularly late, so no chance of a nightcap after an evening in the city. Reception staff were professional, friendly and helpful.
