Hotel reception & dining area are lovely. Breakfast was good. Good parking on site, but the rooms were disappointing. I booked a standard room & expected it to be of same standard depicted in hotel advert. It was not. After moving from a room with no windows, we were given a ground floor room with a window opening onto the street. The decor was mismatched & dated. The shower flooded the floor. There was no mirror in the bedroom, just on a wardrobe door that you could not use. Overall, after 3 weeks in France, staying in various acommodation this was the worst!

Lovely hotel in a beautiful town, could have stayed longer. A shame (once again on our trip) no food was available in the hotel, fortunately there was ample in the town!

Overall a great experience, but room was facing the street and noise could be heard. Staff were very accommodating and offered a room change and changes to the air-condition setting.

Lovely Hotel in great location
Excellent size room with good, quiet AC which was welcoming during a 40c heatwave. Great location near town centre with it's good bars and restaurants.

Perfect waystation!
We looked for a one night stay over on our drive between Sarlat and CDG. This was perfect. Lovely little town, welcoming inn, delicious dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend!

As a regular customer of the hotel I have noticed a marked decline in the standard of the breakfast. A pity, as the friendliness of the staff is second to none.

Excellent hotel, lovely room. Only complaint, some customers park like complete morons taking up 2 spaces in the car park. Would be worth while marking out the spaces somehow

Beautiful town,room 34 needs an upgrade.
The room we were given was no 34 which bore no resemblance to any of the pictures on the website it was very dark,and although clean perhaps gave the impression it wasn’t ! The shower took 5 minutes to reach a reasonable temperature.Staff we’re all helpful and pleasant. Whether it was the time of year there were very few restaurants in the town open on a Friday night! One actually took a internet booking and emailed me back after the booking to confirm they were closed!

Overall it was ok. Some negative points: - we never were able to use the parking, it was always full - no restaurant option on Mondau and very little alternatives. Hotel did not have any recommendations on where to go instead - breakfast was average. Some days there were no eggs, cueue at the coffee machine, no bacon,... - tiny room: never slept in such a small hotel room in my life

In the midst of an authentic french village
Lovely village with nice local restaurants and the Loire on your doorstep. Friendly and helpful reception staff during our stay. Good base for exploring the Dordogne, nice Bistro and comfortable room. Shower facility in bathroom urgently needs updating and the garden upkeep around the pool needs attention.

Nice stay!
Our stay at the hotel was very restful and nice. We drove down from London that night so had had a long journey but the hostess was helpful and sorted our room, helped us make a reservation for dinner etc. She even recommended a lovely walk for us to explore the area, which we did the next morning. Recommend booking here for a quiet stay.

Lovely hotel in a delightful town
This is a lovely hotel, extremely comfortable in Beaugency - a delightful town. My superior room was spacious, warm and full of surprises. A coffee maker, mini bar with free water and snacks and a stunning bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Car parking in the rear courtyard was so easy and a lift made taking luggage to my room simple. Breakfast was good and the hotel is well placed for its own and nearby restaurants in the centre of time. Highly recommended - I would certainly stay here again.

Centre of a beautiful old town, very quaint to walk around. Rooms are standard, bed very comfortable and nice to have pool as an option when weather is hot. Parking is secure as they lock the gate at 11pm, but always someone on reception.

Excellent value for money on our standard room. Good location in village with intetesting medieval sites. Upscale feel and comfort. We had superior customer service. Our second stay and we will come back again. Breakfast was good but a little expensive by US standards.

Adequate accommodation
Basic accommodation and our rooms were rather dark and tired looking and the hotel has no meals or food or drink available other than breakfast, but breakfast was good. There is also very limited parking available in the courtyard.
