A really nice house centrally located to most of the Montgomery cultural and historical sites. The pictures on the VRBO pages do not do justice to this stately and magnificent residential structure. Wood floors, tall ceilings and modern conveniences.
Our stay went pretty well. The main house was very nicely decorated, fairly clean and accommodating. The upstairs was challenging and I’m told the bedding was not fresh. I did not sleep up there. However, my Pastor, his wife and their children did. They made the best of it. I did notice the ceilings were really low and the way the shower was set up made it a challenge, so they showered downstairs. Overall I was pleased and would consider using the property again depending on the size of the group I’m with. The host was very responsive.
The property presents itself with plenty of space to not be on top of one another, plenty of sleeping space for up to 16-17 people and the neighborhood is very peaceful throughout the day and night. The only negative would be the main bathroom showerhead leakage of water spreading all over the bathroom floor when using.
This house was beautiful, inside and out. The owner was very thoughtful in having household necessities sprinkled throughout and the online description is definitely upstaged by in person experience.
Instructions were clear and easy to follow and the home is centrally located which is perfect for taking in sights, shopping and even traveling to neighboring cities.
The “main house” is absolutely gorgeous and spacious. It is beautifully decorated and looks exactly as the pictures. However, the upstairs space is not suitable at all for adults. The ceiling is so low you cannot stand up straight in the shower or two of the bedrooms. The only access to the upstairs is by going outside and around the side of the house to a set of very steep wooden steps. This needs to be detailed in the description for those that have mobility issues so that they are aware.
The house was filthy. The dishwasher was broke, and had dirty dishes in it. The smell in the house was so bad from it. We had to hand wash all of our dishes. The stove, microwave, and refrigerator was also filthy. The bathroom had roach droppings in it all along the edge. I tried calling the owner at the number she left at the house, and she has yet to contact me. I do not think the home was cleaned before our arrival, which is very alarming.

The upstairs area is a joke!
If you rent this B&B and only plan to use the three queen bedrooms downstairs you will have an excellent stay... but if you need more space and plan to use the upstairs area, be prepared to be disappointed. There are no pictures of the upstairs rooms because they are a freak show. There's a shower that only people under 3 feet tall can use, a broken sink that flooded the floor and a toilet that EVERYONE has to sit down to use because the wall behind it is on such a slant that you can't stand in front of it. The "mattresses" on the bunk beds are prison issued. The pull out bed is in a space no bigger than a closet and the final queen bed is in a cramped although usable area if you dont mind waking up to cockroaches in your bed. When I called the owner to fix the sink and get some type of discount due to the dishonest and misleading listing. I was told I could get out immediately for a full refund or stay with no quater given. I stayed because I had 13 guest in town for my wedding but I had to write this review in hopes that the next guest gets a honest heads-up about what's really going on with this listing.
