"I booked this stay based on the chain name and familiarity and stays primarily in Houston. Upon arriving after an 11 hr drive, the office was closed and we received our keys from a man parked at the entrance of the motel. Flag #1. We go to the room and all the doors look like they have been beaten and heavily dented. Flag #2. Entering the room and putting my purses on the desk, a roach casually walked across it. Flag #3. It was about 1 am at that point and we were too tired to drive around looking for another hotel. The floor sagged going towards the bathroom. The bathroom. Yah. I guess it was clean as possible. Towels have been used past their lifetime. Headboard heavily stained. Flags 4-10. We slept for a few hours promptly at 8 after going to the office to ask for a refund. Denied. "

"This place was amazing and clean. Before renting, please understand that there are three good-sized queen bedrooms downstairs and 2 bathrooms. Upstairs has three additional rooms and a futon room, but they are accessible by a narrow winding staircase. Because of that, we let the older adults stay downstairs, while teens and others comfortable with stairs stay upstairs. Another option for accessing the upstairs area is by using the outside stairs.The place is clean, has plenty of room for a group, and is in an excellent location for ASU, honestly one of the best locations available. If you are looking for a cookie-cutter three-bedroom house, this probably is not the place for you. Save yourself some time and get a hotel. But, if you enjoy an older home with a quirky vibe and plenty of space, you will love this place! Way cheaper than the amount of rooms we would've required in a hotel. Will stay again! "

"There was a roach on the 2nd bed. Nothing seemed to be clean. Mirrors dirty. Walls need a good wipe down and hair dryer looked disgusting. Ac unit nobs did not work properly for heat."
