The villa is located in a very quiet area, offering complete privacy—you don’t notice the neighbors at all. "This is dream vacation spot! We loved every minute! A bit of a splurge, but worth every penny! The accommodations were pristine and beautiful. The host immediately took care of the little problem we had and it was seamless. We spent almost every minute in the pool area. So beautiful and refreshing! "Wow! What a wonderful property, we did not want to leave. So comfortable and luxurious, with beautiful verandah and an outside bathtub and shower. Our teenagers loved it too, gorgeous pool area and comfortable rooms and great kitchen. We also so enjoyed viewing toucans, humming birds and other wildlife right from our porch. Good WiFi and netflix etc. Laundry also done for us. Overall a brilliant stay!"

"My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. It took us until 945 pm before we were able to get a far from desirable accommodations. We were preparing to sleep in our car by that time. We have yet to receive a refund or response. There...

"The cottage was very romantic for my wife and I on our short stay in Monteverde. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Private entrance with key lock gate made us feel very safe. The porch is perfect for soaking up some afternoon sun. There are four cottages on the property but each is secluded in their own way. Very close to town. We would stay again for sure. Just longer"

It is a wilderness hotel with eco friendly policies and forest trails directly on the property. "Very peaceful spot! The hosts are very kind and welcoming, and offer good support on how to get around the area and what to do. Don’t be afraid of the road in — it’s very manageable. Breakfast was delicious! Just be aware that it is not in town or walkable to restaurants, etc (20 min drive), but the cabins have a fridge and the hosts generously allow use of the kitchen with microwave, etc. We loved our stay — thank you Beatriz and family! "
